RSS feeds to update a site?
 

Following the herd on tube sites. Sounds like a way I can learn.

Was wanting to use xvideos RSS feed to build an HTML tube site.

I have hostgator (not dedicated). Found where there is some server side script I could use (RSS feeder), but I don't have access to that.

Any other options? Somebody point me in the right direction?

What don't you have access to exactly?

Using an xvideo feed is probably not going to win you many friends - not any that would admit it here anyway.

There are plenty of affiliate feeds you can use - Try them with a free script - Something like www.wpxtube.com would be a good start.

I found a server side script that translates RSS feeds to HTML (http://www.feedforall.com/more-php.htm). I would need a dedicated server and permission to get this on hostgator's server.

Why would using an xvideos feed cause problems? All the copyrighted content?

Yep, You are right on that. Found where MovieDollars provides tube feeds. Right now my site consists of only banners. I want to make things a little more creative.

I will find out how to use those.

The link I gave above would be a good start - Hostgator should support it.

A few standard WordPress blogs that I know are OK on Hostgator might be better for you.
