New Romney Ad: Vote For Romney or Burn in Hell

Republicans are a fucking embarrassment.

spazlabz 11-02-2012 01:08 PM

:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
somehow I think anyone who would take that ad seriously is already voting the way Mike Huckabee wants them to

LAJ 11-02-2012 02:26 PM

Is that for real? LOL... He's already got the vote of the religious whack jobs. Would have made much more sense to try and target a group who's vote he doesn't have.

babymaker 11-02-2012 02:41 PM

Doesnt say who to vote for lol, since Mitt is not a real christian, who knows? do the "real" evangelical and catholic christians go for this mormon crap too? I dont think so, dont they hate the mormons too? Along with the queens and all the big bad terrorists?

Barry-xlovecam 11-02-2012 02:55 PM

Sad part is, people actually believe that crap ...

Vapid - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-02-2012 03:00 PM

Very sad.

babymaker 11-02-2012 05:21 PM

But it is a serious question, do the NE catholics and the southern bible belt evangelicals that are the big republican base, support Mormanism? or consider it blasphomy? (sp?) I havent really cared to look as I just don't really care anymore. But my gut and what I have known of these people having been around a lot of them as a kid, is that they wouldn't support Mormanism as legit christianity.

crockett 11-02-2012 05:29 PM

It doesn't matter if they buy that shit.. Look right here on this forum and look at the guys that don't give a fuck that Romney has a new lie every other day.

As long as they can blame a liberal or vote the black guy out of office they don't give a shit what the guy wearing the big R on his chest says or does.

It's not the religious fanatics that are sad, I mean we expect it from them. It's the rest of the Republican party that should disown the GOP for the shit they push.

Sadly they are too blinded by the big R and don't really give a shit about the country as a whole. They will support their Right Wing party over the good of the country and that is what is sad.

Redrob 11-02-2012 05:53 PM

According to the Wiki:
Quote:

The Catholic Church views Mormons as pagans, ...... The claims of Joseph Smith are not given credence by the Catholic Church, nor is the Book of Mormon received as Divine Revelation. The fact that the Mormons dare place it alongside the Bible is viewed as blasphemy. ...... Mormon ordinances (their version of the sacraments) are not received as valid by the Church, nor does the Church respect the Mormons' authority to preach on Christ or His salvation.
So why would you vote for a blasphemer instead of a Christian (Obama)?

Know when you are being manipulated by :mad:SATAN!

2MuchMark 11-02-2012 07:54 PM

Lol. It;s Mike Huckabe. Whackjob x 10. Cool video actually, but yeah, this is kind of crap has to be embarrassing to all republicans and probably even to some Christians too.

Diomed 11-02-2012 08:13 PM

Very typical Republican nasty limp-wristed activities as usual.

To me, when speaking about the majority of Republicans, not all.. It simply boils down to being a good person with a decent heart, or a soulless fuck who wants his way regardless of the consequences.

Republicans are some nasty fucking human beings through and through, I'm not saying there aren't some good intelligent ones.. But it seams like the people I agree more with in LIFE in general, are Democrats. I'm not either.

But as a human being living an examined life who tries to be good and decent, I despise Republicans for all the right reasons :thumbsup

Robbie 11-02-2012 08:14 PM

There was absolutely NOTHING in that video about "burning in hell"

It showed an iron-smith creating something forged in fire for strength. (that something being "values")

I didn't see anything at all about "hell" in there, unless you guys equate fire with "hell". lol

The ad wasn't "embarrassing" to anybody...it was pretty much a non-attack ad. Nothing personal was used against Obama. It was aimed at religious people's VALUES.

Would it make me vote for anybody? No. But I think religion itself is a scam.

Will it work for people who do believe? Yes.

But again...why would the OP put that title on this thread?

The outright lies on the Democrat side about everything to do with Romney are causing a backlash in my opinion. I don't even like Romney (because of his stand on social issues) and yet I find myself "defending" him by proxy when I point out the bullshit of desperate liberals.

Can't y'all just be FOR Obama because he's so great? Or does every thread have to be another personal attack on his opponent?
Doesn't sound like much to be proud of in my opinion.

This is pretty much my view of it as well. I'm conservative about some things and liberal about others but I'm damn sure not hard core liberal or hard core conservative. I just find it disgusting that the right wing of this country has pushed so far to the extreme that IMO they are a borderline hate group at the fringes.

I typically find I side more with the democrats and I'll support Obama because I feel he's done a good enough job for what he's had to deal with. Meanwhile all the right does is attack & try to divide then blame the left so you pretty much always have to defend the left because 9 out of 10 times the right is just irrational and delusional.

At this point I just love to stir the shit with them and poke stick at the blow hard righties because they are so fucking predictable.

Honestly though I just wish 'reason and intelligence' would replace 'dumb & dumber' as the mainstay of of the GOP line of thinking.

Of course not Robbie it was obviously a fact filled non fear/hate inspired video totally not aimed to prey on the disillusions & fear mongering of the totally not Taliban-like Christian Right.

Seriously take off your fucking blinders for once in your life and quit making excuses for everything the Right does just because you hate Obama. Seriously dude I dunno why you defend them so much they would spit on your grave if they saw your life style.

Thor 11-03-2012 03:55 AM

You just defend your Muslim Socialist candidate against the evil white Christians who built the country and the goods which you enjoy today, if you are lucky it will become like in Europe where socialism has reigned for many years, with 64% tax no rights to to say what I want, I can not build a shed in my own garden without asking the state for permission, that is how it is in a socialist state, but with your help it looks like your going there fast.:thumbsup

It's clear what the video is saying. Anyone who doesn't see it is blind.

It's bringing Christianity to the forefront of of US politics. No political party in the civilised world would remotely consider putting that advert up. Any politician who continually called on God in a political campaign would lose. Accept in countries like these, we keep this shit out of our politics.

I still can't figure out if your posts are alcohol fueled rants or if there is something more serious going on here.

BlackCrayon 11-03-2012 07:32 AM

obama is more of a traditional christian than romney is.

arock10 11-03-2012 08:42 AM

I'm not drinking. lol

And just like the political campaigns are doing...you are attacking me (for no reason) instead of looking at the video and seeing that it has nothing to do with "burn in hell" as the OP said.

Your comment is just dumb. Don't know if it's poor education "fueled' or if there is "something more serious going on here"

Redrob 11-03-2012 10:01 AM

Actually, the video makes an indirect reference to burning in Hell when the narrator states, "Your vote will be recorded in Eternity. Will you vote the values that will withstand the test of fire."

test of Fire = code word for judgement day and sentencing to Hell

Maybe you are on to something there. I don't speak religious crazy code. lol

To me, it just looked like they were using a smith to forge iron in the fire. Which was always a symbol of strength.

But you're probably right...if it's like any ad that is done professionally, it's full of subconscious imagery that triggers thoughts in the viewer.

PornMD 11-03-2012 10:10 AM

There are lies going on on both sides, in every individual election pretty much across the board. I think at least half a dozen trees have been chopped down for the political ads I've received via mail the past 2 weeks, not to mention all the money blown on the ridiculous amount of political ads (95% of which are attack ads). The funny thing is, at the end of it all, it's easy to have the opinion that all politicians suck, and that's pretty close to the truth, even if it's based mostly on their lies.

Paul Markham 11-03-2012 11:40 AM

Yes let's keep arguing about the useless points.

:Oh crap

brassmonkey 11-03-2012 11:44 AM

kool im going to hell

GrantMercury 11-03-2012 08:07 PM

Pathetic.

Christians can vote for...a Christian....or a Mormon. Not that I give a shit, but it's funny how important it is to some people - and they think Romney is a Christian and Obama isn't.

What the fuck? Facts don't matter. The nation is insane. People make shit up. They find some obcsure blog somewhere that tells them what they want to hear. Or they buy into a viral email full of horseshit - because they want to believe it. Our media sucks; never asking important questions so nobody knows what the fuck is going on...

Anyway, stupid video. But not the least bit surprising. Religious insanity has deeply infected this country.

Uh...no where in that video or in any political ad on television have I ever seen it said that Obama isn't a Christian.

And I agree with you that religion is fucking stupid. I'm in 100% agreement with Bill Maher that it's downright scary that the leaders of our country believe those fairy tales instead of science. :(

When all else fails, they look to their Gods to save them. When their Gods fail them, they switch Gods. I'm dead serious, look at history for the proof. It's happened before.
