HostedTube? Google virus warning!

My site megamovies.xxx running on hostedtube has got a big ugly warningpage from google that says it spreads virus.
Probably from one of the advertisers I guess!?
Anyone else got their hostedtube blocked by Goggle?
What to do now?

96ukssob 10-31-2012 07:47 PM

It's because of the .xxx domain

bean-aid 10-31-2012 07:48 PM

All .xxx has been given a warning by google until all piracy is eliminated as promised.

DeletedBlogger 10-31-2012 07:48 PM

.xxx - making the web a safer place.

ErectMedia 10-31-2012 07:49 PM

all 27 of mine are fine :2 cents:

datingfactory.xxx 10-31-2012 08:21 PM

Is it that its to expensive? If i cant make enough on a site to pay $99/year its probably time to get another job.
:)

CyberHustler 10-31-2012 08:33 PM

You fucked up, bro... Never use .XXX, ever! That's like spitting directly into the open mouth of the GFY lady.

SmutHammer 10-31-2012 08:38 PM

It's not because of being a .xxx and not from an advertiser. I had the same thing happen on one of my .com sites, I submitted a ticket to Mojo Hosting and they took care of it.

datingfactory.xxx 10-31-2012 08:44 PM

I have some .mobi sites! Is that OK?
Thanks Ed by the way.... for sticking to the subject! :)

boziffous 10-31-2012 09:15 PM

This same thing happened to one of my HostedTubes (.org domain) just yesterday. I emailed Pimproll support and they corrected the issue. Next I submitted a malware review request through Google Webmaster Tools. Issue now seems to have been resolved.

xXXtesy10 10-31-2012 09:19 PM

.biz is the shit man, take it up bro! :thumbsup

No problem :)

Still a lot of .xxx haters here.

GAMEFINEST 10-31-2012 09:28 PM

:)

Its nothing to do with the price - Do a search on here and you will see why a lot of the people here hate them.

Its more about the business practices of ICM than the domain itself.

CurrentlySober 11-01-2012 03:05 AM

Yeah, its screwed. Even my (well performing) .com gets the warning... :(

Presnus 11-01-2012 03:59 AM

Try http://www.smutnode.com - Hosted tubes. Here you can even use you own pops/ads etc!

once Avast gave me a virus/malware warning on one tube site..it was one of the plugrush advertiser/plugs - I know because avast disabled it...it disappeared quickly but yeah, maybe google picked this up..

datingfactory.xxx 11-02-2012 01:38 PM

Happy to see that Im not the only one with the hosted tube problem! :)
Will try Smutnode also, thanks for the link!
I think the .xxx hate will die out in a couple of years regardless of what people think about ICM.
Every person (not webmasters) I show my .xxx domains think that .xxx is very cool so it will have its time soon!

SmutHammer 11-02-2012 01:43 PM

It's just Like Manwin, Everyone hated him in the beginning, Now most companies are using his sites for traffic.

.XXX will be accepted in time.

PR_Dave 11-02-2012 01:56 PM

In order to maximize the revenue generated by your hosted tubes, we use Traffic Force to sell the ad spaces on your site for the highest possible amount. Unfortunately this week one of our advertisers experienced a situation where one of their products was compromised and malware was added to their website. Traffic Force security measures detected the issue quickly and the team worked diligently to scan the entire system and ensure that the issue was resolved in a manner that would prevent it from happening again. Although we were able to detect and correct the issue in a timely manner, Google did check some of the sited during that time, and subsequently flagged some of the sites for having malware. Google will in a short period of time recheck all the sites and remove the flag from any of the sites that were effected, however you can expedite the process if you have a Google Webmaster Account. For those of you who do have a Google Webmaster Account, you can log in and submit your site(s) for re evaluation and Google will check them out within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and for the fact that we can not submit the sites on your behalf, but it must be done through the Google Webmaster Account of the owner of the site.

e-god 11-02-2012 01:59 PM

fucked up big time, and it will be even more fucked up if ppl with tens of tubes will add them to the same big googles account.

Also traffic is down big time as surfers won't click the link on google with that kind of message.

e-god 11-02-2012 02:00 PM

Thank you Traffic Force

nvaonline 11-05-2012 08:10 AM

I'm on the same boat as you. Some of my hostedtube.com domains still have that warning on it and I don't use google wm tools either. I'm just gonna go ahead and sign up for Google wm tools and try to fix thru them.

BTW, most adult advertising networks have had this problem at some time or another. Fucking rouge advertisers.

So... Its my fault? I mean that I need to create an account, to get my tube working again? When I have done nothing wrong?

http://xxx-con.com

I have an analytics account, but that domain isnt involved in it? So what do I need to do?

I know I sound like a noob, but I can always handle my OWN shit... But in this instance, I consider it 'your' shit (In a non offensive way - Hope you understand)

Please tell me whats needed?

Bump 4 me... Ive just fucked about for half an hour!

I cant verify site by domain name reg, as they are asking me to find someting that isnt there.

I cant upload a snippet of text, cause its not on my server...

I have tried via analytics, but THEY want me to verify it in the same way !

Very frustrating...

So, I take it the only way, is to change DNS back to my own host, upload file to what is effectively a different site, and then switch back over in a day or so?

Confusing, time-wasting and not doing anything to help, aside from make it look like I'm trying to trick google?

AM i missing something?

I dont normally get frustrated, but this is silly...

In the HT builder, go to the Analytics page and you can paste in the "Google Verification Code" (second textbox).

OK, let me try...

Where do I get the code from to paste it?

CurrentlySober 11-05-2012 12:43 PM

In both Google Tools and Google Analytics, it keeps saying I need to use the "You must be using the asynchronous tracking code"

It wont give me a "Google Verification Code" to paste in the second textbox?

CurrentlySober 11-05-2012 12:45 PM

I sound thick as shit, I grant you, but I dont get it...

I've never needed to mess about this way before... Perhaps it would be easier to move back to a 'fake site' ?

Will that do it, (aside from take time?)

CurrentlySober 11-05-2012 12:53 PM

Well THAT didnt work either... I give up...

EvilFubAr 11-05-2012 01:06 PM

log into webmaster tools, add the site, copy the code for meta tag verification (just code after content = not the whole meta tag) to the HT admin under the analytics section, save, publish, wait for it to sync. Then back to webmaster tools verify the site, goto health, malware, and request a review.

Or you can wait for google to undo it automatically, but I have no idea how long that takes them.

baggg 11-05-2012 01:17 PM

happened to me before,
CurrentlySober and others still seeing the warning check here
http://support.google.com/webmasters...n&answer=35843
they review it in a few hours usually

OK, trying in 'Real Time' LOL

I've gone to GWT (From Virus warning page...)

Got the code and added it to second box on HT under analytics tab - Just the XqSjochgd7D_XXXXMAYBEIMPORTANTSOIREDACTED_eicp8jkx Slt-US2K3Rc part (in-between the " Speech Marks ")

Saved and published HT... 20:10 by my clock...

Waiting for it to sync... (Going outside for a cigarette...)

OK... Still waiting...

Right, Its been 12 mins now... Going back to click 'Verify'...

JosephFM 11-08-2012 08:44 AM

Malware is still there apparently. I requested a review of one of my sites yesterday and this morning (last checked by google on 11/8/12) according to google webmaster tools the site is still dirty.

seoguy 11-18-2012 10:31 AM

So when I start now with a pimproll hosted tube, can this happen again or is this mistake fixed for good?
