Uk peeps What do you think about Voting for your Police Commissioner

Just got my voting card for it. Seems weird being able to vote who you want as your Police and Crime Commissioner

You gonna vote or not bother ?

the elections will happen in 41 police force areas in England and Wales (excluding London). To find out who is standing for election in your area and see information from candidates, visit www.choosemypcc.org.uk. Or you can call 0800 1 07 07 08 to order printed information about your candidates.

Don't know anything about it or what voting for someone would achieve.

its not gotham city lol. i dont think people here really care about who is the police commissioner. saw some old women (in their 70s) campaigning for someone in town the other day but not heard anything else about it. is it a new thing?
