Richard Mourdock On Abortion: Pregnancy From Rape Is 'Something God Intended'

Women, think about what this means.....no matter how they spin it, it is still you, still rape, and God thinks you deserve it. Why on Earth would you support someone like this??????

JFK 10-24-2012 06:51 AM

What an absolute Fucking RETARD:thumbsup:thumbsup

tony286 10-24-2012 06:51 AM

yep and people are voting for this shit.

Paul Markham 10-24-2012 07:21 AM

In a modern 21st Century country how can a politician stand up and say such crap?

In Europe he would lose on a landslide, from male and female voters.

Are these the people who should be in charge of the country with the biggest arsenal of arms ever?

Relentless 10-24-2012 07:31 AM

I guess God intended for him to say idiotic things about God intending for people who are raped to become pregnant.
So in that sense what he said is not really his fault?

Organized religion will eventually get us all killed.

Yup - once you believe in a "GOD" then EVERYTHING is what GOD intended... famine, rape, million dollar lottery drawings, fried chicken... you name it!

What's really scary is how many people actually believe in religious fairy tales. Heck, Romney wears Magic Fucking Underwear! Go figure...

Indeed, but most believers in God find it hard to accept that God is also to blame for things they don't like. As I said in the other thread about this, Mourdock's position is no more ridiculous than his opponent's.

So much for separation of church and state ...

Now, lets get back to call other people religious fanatics .... :1orglaugh

Because most voters can relate.

Rochard 10-24-2012 08:58 AM

If you believe this train of thought, anything that happens is "god's will" and thus by extension if someone murders someone it was "god's will".

By the same logic, an affirmative for the defense could be "The God Made Me Do It."

Therefore, you had no choice and are not guilty.

That's what we think when people we don't like are murdered, isn't it? It's only crazy when the Muslims think it.

LAJ 10-24-2012 09:29 AM

God damn that motherfucker.

On a side note... why aren't the armchair gfy conservatives jumping in to his defense?

everyone prefers to view things in a context which makes sense to them.
Christians believe life is a religious whole, in fact human life is sacred.
As we all in this forum knows, life is created when the sperm penetrate the egg, regardless of how the sperm arrived there. the life created is certainly not to be blamed for the rape, right?

so i think what Murdoch is trying to say is the human life created is sacred and must be protected under Christian law.

i am not religious, christian nor conservative, just making an observation.

Redrob 10-24-2012 10:09 AM

I get the sacred; but, I don't get the intended.......just wrong.

Romney just endorsed Mourdock and cut an ad for him. The campaign has not asked him to remove the ad.

helterskelter808 10-24-2012 10:15 AM

Let's face it. There are probably millions of voters who agree with him.

This is true. What scares me more is women who believe it ... mainly women politicians. =

Robbie 10-24-2012 10:53 AM

I saw it on the news this morning.
He immediately was interviewed by reporters and said that was not what he meant. That he never meant rape was "god's will" but that human life was.

Republicans have ruined and destroyed their entire party with religious bullshit and stupid stands against women's rights (abortion, contraception)

Republican used to stand for smaller, more efficient govt. and more freedom from govt.

Now they spend as much as Dems and try to control your life in every way.

Yes and that in itself is the height of insanity.

People who think wearing any article of clothing puts them nearer or closer to their mythical god are insane.

The fact that Americans can even consider going to the polls to elect the leader of their country based on his love of a religion that has roots back to pre historic times is beyond any civilised persons comprehension.

These religions are based from stories told from before people wrote. They were shaped by people hadn't discovered how to make iron. Then until the invention of the steam engine people whose fastest means of transport was a horse.

The "Christian" Religion. Was shaped by Roman Catholics. They burned books and people which went against their best interest. The people who supposedly worship a man he needed nothing more than a field to teach his message, now need this.

The underwear is just pushing the insanity to it's limits.

It's all about the money. They may have you fooled. I see the truth.

Sadly, you would never stand a chance getting elected in this country if you didn't claim you went to church. Churches have a strangle hold over the US and the political system, allows to to stay like this because every one that runs for a office reinforces the stupidity by catering to them.

40 percent of Americans say they go to church but only 20% actually attend... :2 cents:

The RAPEublicans are at it again. And Mitt Romney endorsed this guy. That anyone votes for these fucking freaks astonishes me. We need more focus on education in America. Only then will the dark clouds of extremist religion lift.

THESE GUYS HAVE FUCKING BALLS! Who the FUCK do they think they are to make reproductive decisions for women????? :eatme

EAT SHIT AND DIE, GOP.

Obama 2012.

Think of all the other countries where the politics is immersed in religion. Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Saudi, etc.

JP-pornshooter 10-24-2012 03:49 PM

Religion is part of most countries culture and history, but only a few places is it a "requirement" by the voting public that their candidates regularly attend church.

Reading back on our history...that's kind of a recent development from the 20th century here in the U.S.

It's almost like we're going backwards with our society.
