Christians believe life is a religious whole, in fact human life is sacred.
As we all in this forum knows, life is created when the sperm penetrate the egg, regardless of how the sperm arrived there. the life created is certainly not to be blamed for the rape, right?

Think of all the other countries where the politics is immersed in religion. Iran, Syria, Afghanistan, Saudi, etc.

Religion is part of most countries culture and history, but only a few places is it a "requirement" by the voting public that their candidates regularly attend church.

Reading back on our history...that's kind of a recent development from the 20th century here in the U.S.
