There's a "loading phase" you're supposed to do with creatine, during which time it can literally saturate your liver.

I never did the load phase, even though pple were telling me it's the best way, I just used it like any other suppliment about 30 min before a workout. And it did work. Works best if you're lifting heavy. The only downside I experienced was water retention.

I used creatine for a long time and it helped me get past a barrier where I couldn't gain any weight. I was ripped but I couldn't gain mass. Creatine got me bulked up and for a while I was looking gooooood.. the only problem is I stopped lifting weights a couple years ago, more or less, and I still have the mass that creatine gave me, that shit never goes away. Except now it's a spare tire instead of in my chest and shoulders.

Or maybe I just reached that certain age where your body naturally thickens, but I think creatine permanently changed my metabolism.

and takacs looks terrible.. not much mass and even less definition, I guess they'll let anyone in these competitions.

No, what happened is that you stopped lifting weights. You gotta stay in that weight room for the rest of your life. I fight the battle of the bulge every day. I go to the gym and workout with creatine supplements and have been doing so for around 5 months. But if I STOPPED for even a month, my shit will be all flab in no time.

The older you get, the more you gotta workout...Just because you're getting older doesn't mean that you stop trying....
