Gas prices dropping fast

It's dropped like 20 cents just in a few days it seems.

EddyTheDog 10-22-2012 04:24 AM

I bet we wont be seeing it here.

The price of gas in Europe is a scandal.

seeandsee 10-22-2012 04:30 AM

Not in my country lol

Triple-A 10-22-2012 04:37 AM

If we're lucky they might just shave a penny off a litre of fuel, a fucking disgrace in the UK.
Oil companies and the Govt taxes are just ripping us off constantly.

Every one of our spineless Govts these past 25 years thinks it's the easy option to tax the fuck out of the hard pressed motorist. Price of gas here is an international disgrace.

We are paying the rough equivalent of $8.35/Gallon or more, would you put up with that in America? This is the crap we put up with in Europe, makes me angry beyond mere expletives.

bronco67 10-22-2012 06:33 AM

4 bucks a gallon is the new normal.

RyuLion 10-22-2012 07:23 AM

$3.41 here....

Elli 10-22-2012 07:44 AM

Looks like it just dropped 6c a litre here in Vancouver. Hm. Interesting.

DWB 10-22-2012 08:17 AM

Wait, gas dropped before the election? Incredible. Never saw that coming.

IllTestYourGirls 10-22-2012 08:19 AM

There's no election up in Canada, but we're seeing the same effect.

Rochard 10-22-2012 07:50 PM

Just in time before election... surprise.

I think read something today about the Saudis lowing expectations for future demands or something. Whatever, it's all a joke.

Blah blah blah just marry me and I'll see to it you never ever have to pay for gas again. Ever.

Brujah 10-22-2012 07:59 PM

Claims gas could drop up to 50 cents. Inventories rise, and demand is dropping.

Brujah 10-23-2012 02:44 AM

You guys crack me up. How do you explain the fact that gas prices falling after labor day each year? lol

Brujah 10-23-2012 02:45 AM

Quote:

Gasoline prices typically fall after Labor Day, but this year was a little different, said AAA spokeswoman Jana Tidwell.

"Refinery issues, unexpected shutdowns and pipeline problems didn't allow gas prices to fall as they typically do in the autumn months," Ms. Tidwell said. "Those problems have been corrected."

Other factors leading to gasoline prices falling are a decrease in demand after the summer driving season and a shift to a less expensive winter-blended fuel, Ms. Tidwell said. Summer fuel is more expensive because it's chemically balanced to sustain extreme heat so it doesn't evaporate, she said. Wholesale gasoline prices also have begun to drop, she said.
But ignore all that. Gosh, thanks Obama! You get all the credit. :)

John-ACWM 10-23-2012 11:01 AM
