iphone 5 or galaxy note 2?
 

Thinking of getting a new phone, iphone 5 or galaxy note 2, I like the 5.5 inch screen on the galaxy, what do you guys recommend:)

My advice is if you want a massive phone, get the note. If you don't, then don't.

I'm not much for Iphone, sure they increased the size of the 5, but it's STILL smaller than most Android phones. If you really have a use for the stylus and "note" part of the Galaxy Note, I'd go with that, but if not, I'd just get a Samsung Galaxy S3 over the Iphone, it's a beautiful phone.

Went to see the new iPhone 5 the other day and LOVED it. I am going to be swapping my iphone 4 for it this weekend. Can't wait. Really fast, gorgeous screen, etc etc. The Samsung is nice, but Apple iPhone beats it hands down.

Some people, for some reason, have a weird hatred of apple. For them, it certainly doesn't beat it hands down. Some people want a massive screen then need two hands to use. For them, it doesn't beat it hands down. Some people really want to control what apps they have etc . For them, it doesn't beat it hands down. Some people want to make their own icons and shit. For them, it doesn't beat it hands down.

Both are capable phones. It depends what you prefer.

And, it doesn't matter which phone/OS/foreskin people prefer. It doesn't impact on your life in anyway at all.

I am the biggest apple whore I know, but there comes a point when you need to realise that different people like different things when it comes to phones. And operating systems. And foreskins.

I agree with DamianJ. It depends on your preference. So you look at each phone's feature and choose according to your will, not other people's suggestions.

Cost aside iPhone is the only clear winner.

I switched from iphone to the Note.... Love the Note, and I would recomend it over the iphone any day.

I too was hung up on stats. But, Android is a resource hog. It takes 2 times as much ram and processing power as iOS just to boot up and run. Which is why you see Android phones with "better" specs.

My beef with the Galaxy S3 is that there's not much to it and it's made mostly of plastic. It's nice to look at, I was worried it would break easily. Which oddly enough is why I initially stayed away from an iPhone. I have no worries now, as the iPhone now has Gorilla Glass and an aluminium body.

I'm hoping that Samsung does something nice with the S4 when it's released. Plastic crap just doesn't cut it for me. My original Galaxy was a tank and still runs like a clock. I want something more along that line, and the S3 and Note 2 don't measure up in that regard.

iphone 5 is same as iphone 4 with one more vertical row, I can't believe how apple keeps selling this to people... i bet if apple was selling actual shit in the bag called iShit they would beat earnings once again

While I do agree with what you're trying to say, the iPhone 4, 4S and 5 are all pretty different from each other. Inside and out, too.
