Question: How many of you who runs porn site actually hire a web developer?
 

Question: How many of you who runs porn site actually hire a web developer to build and maintain the sites for you? Or most of you are hands on people...

I'm able to do most stuff but will just get a contractor to do anything that is over my head.

I have a full time server admin though.

Rarely. I do get help if I am over my head but I get so much satisfaction from handling it myself. Maybe I’m stubborn or dumb or a little bit of both. Something’s would just be easier to pay someone else to do it so I just worry about making money.

I shoot/edit the content, and don't know php so yes I do have a full time designer and hire programmers when needed.

I have to hire, my knowledge is stuck in the 90's along with frontpage, ugh.

It can be a false economy unless you have the right person. Personally I do most myself, but I have been known to run some contests for logos/design. :2 cents:

i went out and bought 10 books on php & mysql about 5 years ago so i could continue to develop my websites by myself. probably the best thing i ever did for my business.

I have two full time web developers. I'm not good enough to put either of them out of work. I just write the checks.

I made a hub about this and actually I don't have primary site of mine but I get good response.And I suggest you to run a voting pole, as you are looking for public opinion.

My wife coded all our sites from scratch - I designed all the graphics and created the content.
