I have an electric hanging one in a gazebo on my deck and it doesn't work very good. Propane works better from what I've seen.

Wizzo 10-16-2012 09:23 AM

I have propane one that works great. :pimp

Propane works great. Much better than electric. Just make sure you plan ahead, have extra FULL tanks on hand.

I bought one of those AZ Heaters from Costco on Lindero back in August for like 260.00. They work pretty good. Had plenty of heat for us on the few cold nights we've had so far.

Looks a little cooler than the one that has the heater element at the top. Not as much heat though.

problem for me is the hours... usually working when the damn place is open :) the bbq galore right down the street wants $700 for their heater... seen those?

Propane is the way to go, electric heater cost to much to run.:2 cents:
