Best country to establish the company in?
Many parameters to consider, a tax haven for example has significant benefits, however in some of them adult industries are not allowed, in others it would be hard to process EU credit cards.
Popular contries for adult companies are Cyprus, Germany and the US, howevery, where would be the optimal spot? |
I think Cyprus as it seems to be the hotspot for most adult companies. Very low tax rate

Cyprus is a very good solution. I know some good lawyer if you need one.

Thanks :)
Cyprus is indeed a nice option, trying to find out if there is a better site, see below criteria. However, we are able to benefit from lower tax rates (inter-company planning) and not having to manage books (in some tax havens) is a nice bonus. Big picture plan is to start a webcam site, eventually moving on from a white-label to standalone and doing payment processing, support, etc. Do you (all?) still vote Cyprus? |
Definitely not Belgium.

Panama is another good option, and you can still keep a "briefcase corp" in the UK in order to process in the EU without facing any tax liabilities by simply moving your funds to the Panama corp every day and showing no profits for the UK corp.

I've been wondering this too, I was looking at all the DMCA agent filings for all the major tubes and they all seem to be out of Hong Kong... what's up with that? Hong Kong's tax rate from what I read is only 16.50%. I don't mind paying that.
How is Cyprus better? I hear the tax rate there is 4.25% but they don't allow bearer share corporations. Thank you. |

BUT that only applies to revenues produced from business carried on INSIDE of Hong Kong. Just like Panama, there is no tax on foreign-sourced revenues in Hong Kong. I.E. if your money is produced from commerce occurring outside of the country, e.g. through a merchant account in the EU for internet related business, then you pay no corporate taxes when you sweep the revenues into your Hong Kong or Panamanian corp. HOWEVER, be advised that if you are a US citizen, then simply living outside the US will not give you any protection from US personal income tax obligations on any income over 85k per year. . .:2 cents: |

Consult with a local tax attorney and/or a CPA. It's a major move and needs to be done right. If you live in the USA you are liable for taxes on your income repatriated here and some or all of your foreign earnings. |
Seychellen, set up a new company there this year, with bankaccount :-)
Cyprus is a big problem ;-) |
We use Belize...has been great so far.
