MoviePass - Movie Tickets Subscription Service

Has anyone else seen this yet? It's called MoviePass and you pay $30 a month and are able to go to the movie theatre to see unlimited non-3D movies.

I signed up a few weeks back and was just notified today that I can join if I am still interested.

Gonna give it a shot and see how it goes.

Same here, but mostly because it costs a bunch to hire a babysitter for the kids.

Now I'll just go late at night, by myself after everyone goes to bed.

I can see 3-4 movies a month like this, no problem.

I rarely go to the movies and at $10/ticket I don't see this making any sense for me.

Theaters by me are nice, but full of ass clowns and 14 year old girls that won't put their phone down. Last movie I saw was Taken 2, before that was over a year go. The entire time some girl was on her phone and her LED light kept blowing up... fucking annoying kids

When I was in LA I went to the movies frequently, people had respect for the places there versus here.

Id rather pay $20 to stream a movie at my house :2 cents:

Yea, people playing on their phones are annoying.

Last time we went, the tickets were $17 each + popcorn, drinks and candy another $20. Good thing the kids were with Grandma, because their prices are painful.

pretty good idea for movie theater owners and movie lovers - for single people who love movies it's a great deal, easily could see 10 movies a month. the movie theaters get more people in their seats to buy crap from the concession stand - that's where movie theaters make most of their money.

I'm signed up and now have to wait a few days for my card to arrive.

Gonna check out a few flicks as soon as it gets here.

I go to the Cinema 2x per month, tickets are $10 each for non 3D, if they had this in Canada I'd probably do it, some months we can go 4-5 times, just depends what is showing I guess. Pretty big Movie fan tho, I'll see almost anything with a decent cast.
