Another HUGE Obama Lie Exposed!

Some of you remember a few weeks ago there was a thread about how coal miners were forced to participate in a Romney campaign event.
https://gfy.com/showpost.php?p=19154849&postcount=1

This turns out to be blatantly untrue. It made no sense at the time and still doesn't, why would an industry that Obama is trying to put out of business want to support the likes of him?

This is like 3rd big company in the last 2 weeks whom has tried to force or threaten their work force into voting for Romney. The righties are getting scared.. They can't use the terrorist scare card being Obama has clearly done a better job than Bush.. Now they go back to the old faithful. They gonna take your guns..err I mean jobs..err oh they are bad Mmm kay?

So you mean to tell me that EVERYONE who works at the mine is a Republican and EVERYONE who worked at the mine WANTED to TAKE THE DAY OFF and NOT GET PAID because they were ALL REPUBLICAN...

But I'm guessing that there was some Democrats mixed in they were forced to take the day off without pay.

I would probably think that most everyone in that crowd knows each other pretty well, they would have to, to be able to work in a place like a coal mine, they work more like a community and I would believe that seeing Obama spend so much effort on GREEN energy, when their lively hood is coal, I really don't think he would get a lot of support there.
US has a shit load of coal and the tech for burning it has improved a lot.

I never said that. I would actually assume quite the opposite. I assume that most of the coal miners are unionized and we're talking about Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, most likely Democrat.

Obama promised to put the coal industry out of business. That's their livelihood, why would they vote for somebody like that?

its hard to know if they were put up to do that or not or if there was a group who didn't support doing it and this is the group that did.

probably similar reasons why there are pornographers voting republican.

No...most people who own their own business vote for the business friendly party. That's why so many porn company owners vote Republican. The Dems make it too hard for a person running his own company to vote for them.

In the case of the miners: Obama specifically has went after fossil fuels as "bad". The whole Democrat party has. And they have pushed Green Energy.

BIG difference between Republicans talking stupid shit to appease the religious nut case right VS Obama and Democrats in The House & Senate actually taking actions that hurt these miner's livelihoods and families in real life.

That is one big ASSumption you made there.

Really? what are republicans going to really do for you? and what have the democrats done under obama to make so hard? Actually most of the old porn guys tend to be dem because they were thru actual gop that went after porn.

BFT3K 10-15-2012 06:50 PM

I'm sure the coal miners who fear losing their jobs will step right up and tell the truth...
I mean, what do they have to lose anyway?

So your saying that ALL coal miners MUST BE REPUBLICANS because Obama has threatened to shut down the coal mines.

Just like all pornographers MUST BE DEMOCRATIC because Romney has promised to shut down porn.

Your logic is flawless.

That's silly. Not stupid, silly.

I own my business. I have a business license and all. I opened it up when Bush was in office. Do you know what changed when the White House was over run by Democrats? Nothing. I still have my business license, still try to get out of my taxes, still working every day.

That's not what I said at all or implied.
The implication was unions are almost always hard-core Democrat, but Obama stuck a knife in their back and now they will vote for anybody but Obama, Democrat, Republican doesn't matter.

What do they have to lose?

Their jobs, their livelihoods, way of life. Where these folks live there is more than likely very few other industries or at least not that pay as well as a mining job does.

The Dems have thrown themselves behind green energy in a big way. Even made statements about phasing out fossil fuels as quickly as possible.

For those coal miners and their families that is a REAL threat to their livelihoods.

I don't see how that's an assumption at all. If I were a coal guy, or an oil guy, or a gas guy...Obama would be the last person on Earth I'd want to see in office.

Slowly, back away from the computer and shut everything down, TV, refrigerator, washer and dryer, then turn off your lights and sit in the dark.

So what did I say that was so silly to you?

I feel that the Dems are anti-business. So does my doctor (he's a friend of mine). So does the guy who owns the nightclub I played at with my band on Friday. So does my Dad.

Other than nicknames on GFY whom I've never met and have no idea if any of them have made any real money...I don't personally know any guys with their own business who feel comfortable with the Democrats.
Keep in mind that I'm very socially liberal (as are my friends) and you see the conundrum it presents.

That's why I feel really good about voting for NEITHER of these two lying pieces of shit (Obama or Romney).
I'm voting for Johnson.
I've come to the conclusion that Libertarianism is the perfect fit for me. Govt. out of my life...period.

I'm pretty sure it was always LOCAL authorities that went after guys like Larry Flynt. Wasn't it local guys in Ohio that caused him all that trouble?

Anyway...I don't blame a guy like Flynt one bit for being against any social conservative politician. I'm with him 100% there.

But it doesn't mean that it's cool for liberals to continue to run from Obama's shitty record and keep trying to create a false image of Mitt Romney.

Romney is obviously weak on social issues. If Obama and the Dems want to take him out...go after that. He can't defend himself on those issues or he loses the religious wacko vote.

The problem is...Obama. He has failed so badly with the economy and lied so much that he can't defend his Presidency either.

So unfortunately....a lot of folks are voting their pocketbook. That's why Romney is even close in the race.

Just come out and say that you don't like the guy because he's black.

BFT3K 10-15-2012 08:13 PM

Some of Obama's accomplishments, so far.

Redrob 10-15-2012 08:22 PM

Looks like a pretty good list of accomplishments. Here are the top 10 of 50 achievements. Amazing considering all the cockblocking by Republicans in Congress.
1. Passed Health Care Reform
2. Passed the Stimulus
3. Passed Wall Street Reform
4. Ended the War in Iraq
5. Began Drawdown of War in Afghanistan
6. Eliminated Osama bin laden
7. Turned Around U.S. Auto Industry
8. Recapitalized Banks
9. Repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell"
10. Toppled Moammar Gaddafi

You make a lot of assumptions don't you? You don't know me.

And your last statement is even more idiotic. That must be it, it's because he's black, you found me out!
You can't disagree with a black man without being racist ? more liberal logic?

BFT3K 10-15-2012 08:28 PM

But it doesn't mean that it's cool for liberals to continue to run from Obama's shitty record and keep trying to create a false image of Mitt Romney.

Obama's record has hurt you how? A false image of Mitt Romney?! Mitt Romney casts a false image of Mitt Romney! No one needs to make anything up at all!

Romney is obviously weak on social issues.

Weak on social issues?! He doesn't drink - he doesn't smoke - he's anti-weed - he's anti-porn - he wants to reverse Roe v Wade - he wears fucking magic fucking underwear! Weak on social issues? Seriously, you think?

If Obama and the Dems want to take him out...go after that. He can't defend himself on those issues or he loses the religious wacko vote.

The problem is...Obama. He has failed so badly with the economy and lied so much that he can't defend his Presidency either.

So the stock market has crashed? Your 401K is worth less now? No new jobs were created? The US dollar has lost all value? Unemployment is up? How exactly has Obama hurt our economy?

So unfortunately....a lot of folks are voting their pocketbook. That's why Romney is even close in the race.

How will Romney help your pocketbook exactly?

Don't forget winning the Nobel Peace Prize. How come nobody ever mentions that as an accomplishment?
So instead of saying Pres. Obama shouldn't we say Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Obama?
