So who will win the next presidential debate?
I vote Obama. This time he will make Romney cry on camera.
Agree? Disagree? |
Romney
. |
Just like wrestling the winner is already decided. It's nothing but a big show.
|
Bar is so low for Obama now after the last one that all he has to do is not look down, make some decent points and he won't have failed. Romney has to 'win'.
|
Are they letting Obama use a teleprompter this time.
If not.. Romney |

Romney will not be the one crying. |
Hard to win a debate when the facts are against you. Joe Biden did a good job ignoring and turning things around.

He has to look "Presidential" and you KNOW the scumbags on the right are waiting with their "angry black man" label. He should conclude by saying "People of America, you can give me a second term, or you can give Bush a third term." Romney's policies are exactly the same as Bush's. Usually I watch NBC and CNN, they rode that Obama and his teleprompter message hard that night. |
I have no idea who's going to win, but I'm betting Obama is going to come out swinging.
The first debate was a fucking snoozefest that Romeny won. The second one will be entertaning! |
Which Romney will Obama be debating? :1orglaugh
The Conservative Romney? The Semi Liberal Romney? The Corporate Romney? Romney himself probably isn't a bad guy and likely isn't a vampire as say Dick Cheney is, but he has a real problem of flip flopping on what he wants you to believe when ever he needs you think think something else. Romney is simply a sales man that will say or do anything to get what he wants. The biggest problem with Romney, is that he doesn't take a stand and say this is what I want to do and that's that.. Instead he tries to be Mr Conservative one day , Mr Semi Liberal the next & Mr Business man in between. Romney can only win these debates if people actually believe what he says. The problem is how can anyone with half a brain actually believe anything he says when the next day or week he will say something different? IMO Obama lost the last debate not because Romney actually won, but because Obama didn't take it by the horns. I say the only way Romney can win again is if Obama gives it away for free again. |

I'm tired of these crotch sniffers who say 'Voting is what makes us American' or 'I wish people would 'take the time' to vote instead of just bitching about the government.'
These people can't be serious, can they? Voting is the only way to make sure you never get what you want. So enjoy your time behind the candy cane pinstripe pattern on the political shower curtain, with your dumb ass feet sticking out from underneath the voting shitter door, because as soon as you step away from that internal outhouse with your chest pumped out or your 'ego' inflated the fat drunk thumb on the remote control of life presses the button and your precious time to shine is shattered. Worse, it's reversed. Had you never made the decision to continue believing despite obvious reason, they wouldn't have yours to flip. |

http://gawker.com/5951977/leaked-deb...veling-cowards Leaked Debate Agreement Shows Both Obama and Romney are Sniveling Cowards John Cook Time's Mark Halperin has made himself useful for once by obtaining, and publishing, a copy of the 21-page memorandum of understanding that the Obama and Romney campaigns negotiated with the Commission on Presidential Debates establishing the rules governing this month's presidential and vice presidential face-offs. The upshot: Both campaigns are terrified at anything even remotely spontaneous happening. They aren't permitted to ask each other questions, propose pledges to each other, or walk outside a "predesignated area." And for the town-hall-style debate tomorrow night, the audience members posing questions aren't allowed to ask follow-ups (their mics will be cut off as soon as they get their questions out). Nor will moderator Candy Crowley. Most bizarrely, given the way the debates have played out, the rules actually appear to forbid television coverage from showing reaction shots of the candidates: Which means some of the rules below that both campaigns stipulated to in a desperate attempt to wring any serendipity out of the events may be honored in the breach: "The candidates may not ask each other direct questions during any of the four debates." "The candidates shall not address each other with proposed pledges." "At no time during the October 3 First Presidential debate shall either candidate move from his designated area behing the respective podium." For the October 16 town-hall-style debate, "the moderator will not ask follow-up questions or comment on either the questions asked by the audience or the answers of the candidates during the debate...." "The audience members shall not ask follow-up questions or otherwise participate in the extended discussion, and the audience member's microphone shall be turned off after he or she completes asking the questions." "[T]he Commission shall take appropriate steps to cut-off the microphone of any...audience member who attempts to pose any question or statement different than that previously posed to the moderator for review." "No candidate may reference or cite any specific individual sitting in a debate audience (other than family members) at any time during a debate." For the town-hall debate: "Each candidate may move about in a pre-designated area, as proposed by the Commission and approved by each campaign, and may not leave that area while the debate is underway." . |

http://reason.com/archives/2012/10/1...y-another-name "...PolitiFact, one self-appointed guardian of truth, rated Romney?s statement as ?mostly false.? The board, it insisted, ?can?t deny treatment? or ?ration care? or ?make health care decisions for individual Americans.? Rather it can only determine what doctors and hospitals are paid. Likewise, The Los Angeles Times maintained that the board could merely ?recommend ways to reduce Medicare spending??not cut benefits. But the whole point of the board is to use price controls to discourage expensive treatments. Yes, it is possible that some good doctor will be willing to perform bypass surgeries for Medicare patients even when the board only allows, say, payment for aspirin. It?s also very unlikely. If the board decides to set payment for state-of-the-art dialysis at below cost, reasoning that the benefits of the procedure aren?t commensurate with the added expense, it isn?t rationing care directly. But it is indeed rationing care, because this would effectively consign patients to older treatments......" There's a lot more in the article. Check it out. .:2 cents: . |
As long as you have corps like Domino's Pizza trying to fuck it up, this will likely be a joke.
