Fellow noble Dutchmen inside please
So today i have to mail this ancient thing called a letter in an enveloppe with stamps on it.
It's been ages since i bought stamps and call me stupid but it totally confuses me. I paid 10 euros for 10 stamps which say "1" on them. So clearly that's 1 euro per stamp. The guy at the AH said that's the ones i need. At the bottom it says 20 gram letters is 1 stamp, 20 to 50 grams is 2 stamps. This seems way too expensive or what? 1 euro to post a letter? Really? Then i look on the website http://www.postnl.nl/voorthuis/brief...ieven/brieven/ and it says 50 cent per letter! But you need to use the stamps with 1 on them, which are 1 euro? Understand my confusion? Never thought that sending a letter would give me a headache like this hehe. |
"Mail order bride" is just an expression. I'm sure the agency will also take orders over the internet.

they have to make money too you know lol
They used to have stamps with a value on it like 20 cents But then when they wanted to raise prices that wasn't simple So now they have numbers on a stamp and can raise prices for the stamps anytime they want |

The one on the stamp isn't one euro. It just means one letter. You shold have paid about 5 euros.
