Is this true and if so is it legal

This guy on death row said when he was driven there from another jail the cops in the van or whatever told him that if anyone would try to free him he would be shot first. He made it sound like this is a normal procedure.

Is there any truth to this or just a bs story from a criminal?

I highly doubt this would be legal. Then again he is on his way to get killed anyway.

Not likely but a citation would be nice.

A Death Warrant specifies the time and manner of execution but all that might depend on the country involved, so you get a link up to the original article and then we can figure out the matter.

Sometimes things on tv aren't true. Like the moon landing and 911.

I don't know about that but I always thought it was kind of funny that they swab the prisoner's arm with alcohol right before administering the lethal injection.
Can't have them getting an infection!

That was probably because of the rubbing alcohol lobbyists to boost sales (or Hydrogen Peroxide or whatever they apparently use).. :upsidedow

Prison is a business :2 cents:

Yeah that's my guess. Then i still wonder if it would be some kind of (illegal) protocol.
Nobody here had been on death row and can answer this?

seeandsee 10-15-2012 06:23 AM
