confused CCBill join link going to Epoch join page?

does this go to Epoch for anyone else?

http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...ed-nylons.com/

Sly 10-14-2012 06:54 AM

It starts going to CCBill but almost instantly redirects to Epoch.

signupdamnit 10-14-2012 06:58 AM

It goes to Epoch for me as well.

pornguy292 10-14-2012 06:59 AM

so how do I get the credit then, does Epoch let CCBill know I sent the sale?

pornguy292 10-14-2012 07:02 AM

got the link form here btw http://www.otcash.com/linking_codes.cfm

sojproductions 10-14-2012 07:06 AM

You probably don't. AFAIK if it goes directly to the Epoch form without going through CCBill's cascade then you aren't getting credit as a ccbill affiliate. Read this for more info http://www.signbucksdaily.com/marketing/ccbill-manual/

the join link on the site.

Dirty Dane 10-14-2012 07:57 AM

The ccbill redirect join link must have something like this in it: &cascadeId=

shake 10-14-2012 07:59 AM

CCBill offers cascading for their affiliate program through Epoch and I think Segpay now. That is probably what it is.

How are the voices in your head doing? Found some good meds yet?

Dirty F 10-14-2012 08:16 AM

Layered nylons? That's odd. There are people specifically into that?

pornguy292 10-14-2012 08:24 AM

not sure who's into that. I was looking for softcore and OnlyTease came up. that was just the first link on the affiliate program page.

so it's safe to join through CCBill or no?

john FVC 10-14-2012 08:42 AM

I just mailed them about this for an answer as we promote them ourselves.

Chosen 10-14-2012 09:20 AM

Same here, redirects to epoch...

LouiseLloyd 10-14-2012 09:33 AM

302 redirect on join page to:

Code:

https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/billingCascade.cgi?clientAccnum=920217&clientSubacc=0008&cascadeId=9242&username=rGMFe2yV&password=uwukPVDK&OT_REFERRER=&ccbill_referer=
Cascading = you'll get credited the sale, right?

Chosen 10-14-2012 09:42 AM

Yeah, at least it should be.

Va2k 10-14-2012 10:55 AM

Goes to epoch for me as well.

jimmycooper 10-14-2012 11:00 AM

I find it highly unlikely that OT Cash would be screwing over their affiliates as they're a trustworthy top-notch program so you're probably getting credit for the sale. Do a test buy if in doubt. I imagine that they would reimburse.

Looks like you're right:

Code:

HTTP/1.1·302·Moved·Temporarily(CR)(LF)
Date:·Sun,·14·Oct·2012·18:*:*·GMT(CR)(LF)
Server:·Apache(CR)(LF)
Set-Cookie:·CFID=*;expires=Tue,·07-Oct-2042·18:*:*·GMT;path=/(CR)(LF)
Set-Cookie:·CFTOKEN=*;expires=Tue,·07-Oct-2042·18:*:*·GMT;path=/(CR)(LF)
location:·https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/billingCascade.cgi?clientAccnum=920217&clientSubacc=0008&cascadeId=9242&username=RpwZcGy3&password=nvy38spY&OT_REFERRER=&ccbill_referer=(CR)(LF)
Connection:·close(CR)(LF)
Transfer-Encoding:·chunked(CR)(LF)
Content-Type:·text/html;·charset=UTF-8(CR)(LF)
(CR)(LF)

Code:

Location 2
Parameters:
URL = https://bill.ccbill.com/jpost/billingCascade.cgi?clientAccnum=920217&clientSubacc=0008&cascadeId=9242&username=RpwZcGy3&password=nvy38spY&OT_REFERRER=&ccbill_referer=
UAG = Mozilla/5.0 <censored>
REF = http://t1.layered-nylons.com/join
AEN =
REQ = GET ; VER = 1.1 ; FMT = TXT

I think there's a good chance he gets credit then but that's still assuming some things. The only real way to be sure is a test signup.

I'm not quite sure about the blank "ccbill_referer" parameter myself. Regularly I know that is supposed to have your affiliate ID for you to get credit but I'm not 100% sure about it with a cascade so I'm going to keep my mouth shut about making absolute statements. :) but someone here probably does know or I'm sure there's some documentation somewhere.

AmeliaG 10-14-2012 11:57 AM

Looks like their program is CCBill, but Epoch is at the top of their cascade.

I always keep the program biller at the top of the cascade for clarity and simplicity, but I believe the tools to select what was at the top were introduced a couple years back.

Lace 10-14-2012 12:16 PM

Don't you people know that you can cascade with ccbill? You've been able to for awhile now.

hopefully sliing grows some momentum. They have a nice solution for this. We are going to be using them. and then they would send out payments to affiliates if the referral doesn't signup via ccbill. so if a lot of ccbill programs use them it would be one payment from all the cascades. Hopefully I'm making sense.

Hi Guys,

Yes you definitely get credited for sales - this is using CCBill's cascade billing system and ALL payouts are still being processed by CCBill.

We've actually been doing this and paying out affiliates for Epoch sales for about 5 years now - we're just trying Epoch in a "primary" position instead of CCBill.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

ING_webmaster 10-15-2012 02:52 AM

I've seen these sales come through in the CCBill affiliate admin - only difference is in the transaction report - in the "active" column it reports N/A instead of a Y or N.
