question about cascading
Question!
Ok i`m using Epoch for processing and i`m very happy with them. I also want to open a ccbill account for lazy affiliates:upsidedow or affiliates that just have something against Epoch:upsidedow. I read about this cascading-stuff... Can I do this?: -Have an epoch-affiliate-programm as well a ccbill-affiliate program running at the same time? -Only use the epoch-forms so only use epoch for processing payments? if yes: 1.how do ccbill affiliates get paid? Money goes through epoch not ccbill so epoch pays out the ccbill affiliates? 2. Why would ccbill accept me using them only for affiliate-program and not for payment processing? That way ccbill will make no money out of me, am i right? Thank you all for your input! |
In theory you can have an Epoch and CCbill program at the same time. I know CCbill also can cascade to Epoch and still credit ccbill affiliates, if properly configured. I'm not too sure about Epoch. Though you could use cookies. Another option might be NATS which at least has a CCBill only option where payouts can be handled by CCBill.
Whatever you do though make sure it's properly and honestly configured. For example don't make it so one group of affiliates never gets credit for returning surfers who manually type in your domain name later. All that will do is make their ratios worse and the smart ones will drop you over it. In these times I can't afford to waste time and resources on 1:4000 sponsors. I go with who makes money and converts. |
Drop me a note... chris (at) payze.com and I'll bring you some solid advice.

I see some sites that have for example ccbill and epoch as there billers, but i can only find ccbill signup-forms on these sites... in that case: when will epoch start complaining that there are no sales processed by them? |
