This mysterious saucer from the 1950s was meant to fly at speeds of up to Mach 4. Most mysteriously, it was designed by... Canadians.

CNet is just posting this "declassified" story now?!

Nothing mysterious about it - it's been common knowledge in Canada for decades about the two versions of the 'flying saucer' plans.

There's video footage out there of them test flying the hovercraft AvroCar version at the AVRoe plant.

Only the Canandians would try to build such a thing.

We're always looking at unique and innovative ways to haul our beer.
