Does your accountant know your net worth?
 

Used the same guy for years. He has no clue what my net worth is. Do you guys calculate your net worth with your accountant?

My account knows what I tell/provide him. He knows my income only.

My accountant cant talk....

Because hes a porcelain pig with a slot in the top next to my bed...

This was prompted by the other thread where their accountants and them are the only ones who know their net worth.

I dont have an accountant, I have a tax attorney. And he pretty much knows everything.

So he could give you a number for your net worth? I do my wn books and give it the accountant to do my taxes. I see the guy once a year for a few hours and a few phone calls a year.

Added value of a tax attorney? Serious, help me out. I might be too skinny on my hired help.

If he doesn't you might be in a lot of trouble.

In the USA we are taxed on net worth. My banker knows my net worth as I have to provide it to him once a year. My accountant might be able to guess based on the info on my taxes but he does not do a personal financial statement or anything.
