Filipino dont get paid per hr. They get paid per day. But if you through a company then yeah you pay per hr. Gotta cut the middle man and go directly to the programer.

$10/hr, but make sure you stock up on some lube first... :thumbsup

Love these sassy responses. I've had the same PROGRAMMER for 7 years and he lives in the Philippines. I'm wanting to change his pay scale, so you guys can all suck it!

He can do anything I ask of him. May take him a few times, but our communication has gotten better over the years!

If you don't like the answers, why are you asking? Pay him what you think it's worth and/or what is fair and/or what you can afford. You know him better than anyone here does.

When you go to some freelance sites,you can select programmers by country and see what is average rate there.

im in china right now hiring the best programmers.

no adult clients though...and we are busy on our own stuff.
however later i might take on projects.

10$/hour is decent rate for Philipines, I hired many "pretty good" php programmers in central-eastern EU for that.
