Driverless car bill is signed in California at Google headquarters

Soon we will just be getting into a car and it drives itself. It will be nice to get in the back of your car and have a sleep or do some work as your car drives to its destination. |
i've heard that trains already stop by themselves if someone walks on the tracks. Why don't you test it for us?
|
They cant even get my truck a/c to work correctly 100% of the time. No way I am letting them drive me around.
|
I live here, I don't see a big change in habits
|
And then they can track everywhere you go, see what you do and then slap a tax on people that drive a certain distance because now they know exactly how much you use your car and maybe drive you off a cliff whenever they want. Yeah, sounds like a good idea.

I can see this taking off big time.
if you run a bus firm or a hgv businesses you save a fortune by having the bus or lorry or van drive itself. no drivers. no accedents (in theory). (i am not sure if they call it hgv in the usa). elderly will love them. as cars become electric, the cost of self drive will not be huge as all you need is a motor to turn the wheel. |
If Google is involved I'm against it..
|
No thanks. I wont let a computer drive a car with me inside.
