I like it among other browsers but Chrome gets infected easily with different surf/bar/redirect shit. Any solution?

changed from chrome to opera yesterday. i havent seen worse memory management than chrome ... fuuuuck chrome off!!!

Since it automatically updates itself whenever it feels like it with no way to turn it off... the solution may be firefox, opera, or explorer.

Chrome is a liability. It is not secure. It uses too much memory. It leaks information to Google.

Chrome updates using scheduled task. disable them if you don't like them. Chrome is my preferred browser for the last four or five years. I don't see excessive memory use.

Someone needs to do a fork of firefox or chrome that is stable, has no toolbar/helper/plugin support at all, and a long upgrade cycle between versions

I've used Opera for years, but their recent lazy updates have turned even that elegant browser into a piece of crap.
