I like it among other browsers but Chrome gets infected easily with different surf/bar/redirect shit. Any solution?

Since it automatically updates itself whenever it feels like it with no way to turn it off... the solution may be firefox, opera, or explorer.

Chrome is a liability. It is not secure. It uses too much memory. It leaks information to Google.

I used to love Chrome but not anymore.
|
I've been pondering switching to opera... think I'm going to sometime today.
|
Opera rocks :thumbsup
|
Chrome updates using scheduled task. disable them if you don't like them. Chrome is my preferred browser for the last four or five years. I don't see excessive memory use.

Chrome works pretty decent for me,getting tired of FF and IE crashing on me

Someone needs to do a fork of firefox or chrome that is stable, has no toolbar/helper/plugin support at all, and a long upgrade cycle between versions
|
I use Chromium and Chrome, but find myself using Chromium more :2 cents:
|
Chrome is a Google product. What the fuck did you expect besides a barely working piece of shit?
I've used Opera for years, but their recent lazy updates have turned even that elegant browser into a piece of crap. |
I also use this browser based on Chromium:
http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-...rs/browser.php http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comodo_Dragon_(web_browser) It has better privacy & security level than Chrome, and is compatible with Chrome extensions. |
still on chrome
|
I think I'm ready to do the Opera switch :thumbsup :thumbsup
|
Still does the job for me!
