Question about forming partnerships with people you've never met.

Is there many people on here who've done serious business and exchange of substantial amounts of money with someone they've never met?
Of course phone conversations build rapport but eventually solidifying a relationship is always done in person.

Hence shows.

Yes:2 cents:

Only used the phone once (NATS/CARMA training).

Its all about feeling for me, if it feels right, the experience of the other, details changed both ways, etc, and we all have to take chanses i guess.

Yes, i have had some really big partnerships just having contact by icq/skype/phone, but after those relationships start to build up, i always setup meets in person either at shows or just traveling or inviting the other party to my country/city.

Face to face meetings always help a lot to consolidate those biz relationships.

Money down or I'm off. Unless I really know who you are and that discounts anyone online only.

Maybe I should ask how many times you've been screwed over? :Oh crap

Once with a magazine company in NJ. Somewhere along the Hudson. Sold them 3 sets second right and they never paid us. They wanted more when we went to see them, I only left three. Proper office and everything.

This doesn't count all the online guys who bought licenses and ignored the terms, that list is too long to to type. :(

Yes I have. As long as a legal contract is in place, I don't need to have beers or go to a ball game with a person to build trust.

Have you ever tried suing someone in another country?

For that I believe edgeprod's philosophy is best, the guy has been screwed over plenty, not because he's a dummy by any means. He pushes forward with gusto and makes a lot of headway while others are finicky over tidbits and are just too much of a hassle.

Clean up and move on.

I'm a little out of my element though... but my :2 cents:
