The EU want there to be an EU embassy, and to scrap all the individual European embassies

Fucking Bull Shit, Fuck The Queen, I dont want to have anything to do with Britain (as a country).

Sly 09-24-2012 06:19 AM

Oh Canada… little brother of the US, little child of the Queen. No wonder you guys are always so salty!

pornguy 09-24-2012 06:36 AM

I see that as a stupid move. Money saving yes but stupid on Canadas part.

SmutHammer 09-24-2012 06:43 AM

Is there anywhere in Canada that has decent weather year round? That's the only thing stopping me from looking into moving there...

If Obama is re-elected here, I have no choice but to look for a decent Country to move to :Oh crap

Best-In-BC 09-24-2012 06:47 AM

Canadians Hardly Care About What There Government Does, Which Is My Issue With My Fellow Country Men, But You See It Almost Everywhere You Look Nowadays, People are loyal to a party and care less about what the party ideals and what there plans are. When we voted Gordon Campbell In Here it was a huge fail on the part of the citizens for not investigating his accaully plans on what he wanted to do, out side of the HST you could have just read most of the crap he did, that his voters complained about, on his fucking website.

So if you don't have Romney as your president you would move to a country that believes much more in Obama's values than Romney? How does that make sense?

Canada does not want Americans moving here, keep the imploding south of us please.
Fuck Britain as well.

From what I see here, There are many people in the industry there. I have been to Canada a few times I grew up in Erie Pa. So I was very close to you guys. It seemed to be very similar to the USA but much much cleaner and more friendly. But as far as your laws and taxes I have no idea how all of that goes.

Rochard 09-24-2012 07:19 AM

Wait, you mean Canada is it's own country? I always thought a colony of the UK.

Canada is more liberal than the United States, in many regards. Not really a place you would be into, based on what you post about.

Freaky_Akula 09-24-2012 07:35 AM

Canada is not a real country. It is a part of the U.K. that is managed by the U.S.

Sarah_Jayne 09-24-2012 08:43 AM

Meanwhile, Scotland doesn't want to be part of either...

pornmasta 09-24-2012 09:27 AM

It was British Prime Minister David Cameron that said "We are two nations, but under one Queen and united by one set of values,”

and its for remote nations where Canada but not Britain has an embassy, or vice versa, they will share the embassy. Similar arrangements are expected to include Australia and New Zealand.

Canada does, in some instances, share consular facilities in foreign countries with, for example, Australia. Such arrangements are typically sought out when Canada doesn’t have extensive enough trade or political relations with a distant nation to justify opening its own embassy, but requires a place from which to provide basic consular services for Canadians traveling to that country.

Indeed. I think countries 'share' Embassies all the time; not just Commonwealth countries.

I'm not sure what the big deal is anyway (to some people). There is quite obviously a very strong connection and a strong shared history between Canada, and other former British Empire countries, and the 'Motherland'.

Even in the US the links with Britain are everywhere, from language, law, the flag, the national anthems, the bill of rights, even the dome of the Capitol.

Its Important To Keep One Countries Business To Ones Self At Times

I admit-tingly misread the artical in that I thought that it was our Prime Minister Harper .

Sid70 09-24-2012 11:04 AM

Canada declined my visa while UK gave me plenty entries, I vote Queen.

Depends on what you mean by decent weather. If you don't want to experience 4 seasons, i.e. snow, then Canada is not for you. If you don't mind a little snow for part of the year then there is no problem since we have hot summers and have some nice beaches, etc.
