3 Mile Island Unexpectedly Shuts Down This PM

http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/20/us/pen...and/index.html

Article mentioned the 1979 incident was the worst commercial accident in US history. Anyone know what is the worst nuclear accident in US history? I suspect only the government knows but...

If you are around Harrisburg, how are the 3 eyed fish doing?:upsidedow

I remember three mile island when I was a kid. Everyone was freaking out.

However, this seems routine.

Saw a Dead show in Harrisburg back in the eighties... the third eye I developed is not so bad because it is the only one that didn't require Lasik ten years later. :thumbsup

I live within 15 minutes of TMI, it was all over the news here, but said it was "almost a normal reaction..." yeah... normal my ass!

There has been more "incidents" in the past year at TMI than in the past decade, I think I'm looking to move somewhere 250 miles away :1orglaugh

Its coming up on 40 years for TMI.

Many Lasek peeps won't be laughing 10-15 years down the road from their surgeries. By then I expect but eyes can be replaced with robot eyes anyway though. lol. See through womens skirts and shit, Helllllllllllooooo!!!

why what is supposed to happen to people's eyes who've had Lasik surgery after 10-15 years?

GFY medical advice is usually priceless.

So let me get this straight....

You say I am in danger of becoming Third Eye Blind? :winkwink:

Captain Kawaii 09-21-2012 09:09 AM

Well, not much can be done for the mental retardation in the responses in this thread but if you want to risk being the unlucky patient, go right ahead.

This article is old, source is Canadian, I trust their opinion however.

If you want to gamble with your eyesight in your old age, god forbid you live that long, then go right ahead. If you spent more time keeping yourselves informed rather than aching for the next huge cock videos...:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Oh, god, the 80's references just never stop with you. :winkwink: When will the acid trip be over?

They are scheduled for a shut down any way on 10/21/13.

Is there anyone else here qualified with a red badge to work at a Nuke ?
