Why no one is buying anymore? Don't talk shit about record sales because they can't be (paysites). Ive talked to dozen webmasters and all of them are panicking. My revenue in september is halved. Same traffic, more work but conversions are probably worse ever.

A truthful answer would have to be cause they dont need to...

But why suddenly,until last month,everything was normal (last month is 1:985 what is more or less same for years) .Femdom niche is not so much available all over like other things.

i had my best period ever from sept 1 to 15th. Selling amateur to college porn. No joke. But this 2nd period of September slowed down a bit.

From the 15th to the end of the month is supposed to be bad, for everybody. Stars lining up for 12-21-12.
Then.........all will be great until 12-20-12...............then. Hide.

Dunno. You do occasionally get a 'tipping point' on non vanilla content. Then it somehow goes back to normal.

The stuff I shoot isn't available all over the tubes, but I get dead spots on occasion. More and more so these days...

Are you working on new updates, sites, projects, traffic sources? Or just running on autopilot?

most of my traffic is search engine. I've survived disaster from google that took most of my traffic , but again, conversions remaind the same. I have around 40 hand written blogs and traffic is more or less,the same in this problematic period. But conversions are those that suddenly dropped. It would be fine that it is just my problem but when I talk to other webmasters and paysite owners in same niche (away from forum here) they see exactly the same. I know that some bad periods can exist that are later mostly compensated with good days but (and happened before) but 20 days is too much.

For you to be seeing this in the Fetish world, with niche sites like you have (great job, btw!!) then there IS something wrong I think. Fetish-heads love their shit. LOL

I'm seeing the same kind of patterns with my more 'mainstream' porn sites, if that's any help. :)

If the traffic is still there and the same kind, i think you have a biller has issue...

1-15 sep was record period for crakmedia for sales total and ROI... but i did notice that some sponsors i know had some billing issue. well they will not admit.. but we know our traffic and ratio.... nothing change drasticily and fast . too many different surfers to have quick massive change

I am affiliate webmaster, most of sites I am promoting are CCbill and then Verotel. Sitation is same on both of them.

Kind of like sunday and monday average 1/150 conversions then the very next 2 days conversions cease during "maintenance"

then switch gets thrown tuesday and flat line ever since...

Oh but wait the form hits have not flat lined they are steady...

So we are expected to believe that sunday and monday in a dunkin donuts as long as people visit the store they will buy..

but then tuesday wednesday and thursday same people visit the store and no one buys...LOL

I read couple more threads about september being bad for ccbill affiliates. Sales can not just dive in half (given that sample size = usuall daily/weekly sales is big enough)

Business is the same for me this month...

this month is slightly slower than last year at this time. Nothing alarming though.

I dont believe in big sales ratios variation, and more on big numbers... if we do a steady 200 sales/day at one sponsor and it drop to 75 one day... well if i didnt change my traffic its not the economy or the client... the problem come from the Billler ...( we ve seen that a lot)

Or also it could be a technical problem from the webmaster, (page not loading, wrong redirection, etc etc etc)

I'm making more this month than I have in the last year, But I did add another site...

we've seen large fluctuations over the years. It happens. When it lasts for more than a day is when you pull the alarm. But tbh this is why I started my own program instead of promoting others. I want to be the one at the helm so I know when something is wrong, something is wrong.

Summer is ALWAYS WORSE then during the year. I lose 30% during the summer each month.

If you are doing less then 50 joins a day then you are wasting your time looking at stats and comparing yourself to the world. I have had days with 14 joins and the next 3 days I get 1-2 a day and then 10 the 5th day. That is just how it is. Now if you are doing 300 joins a day and always around there and have a day with 20 I would look into that but 99% are talking about 1-2 joins a day. 2 is great and 0 suck. Listen to Axel and Roland, you do not hear them ever making threads like this.

Make a spreadsheet to record, track and then plan how to adjust what you do to improve profits.

I do not agree with you Brian. Pattern in sales has also to do with time. You look at a period of time and you compare the numbers. It doesn't matter if there are over 100 sales a day or 10 sales a day. There is still a curves that you can anayse. There is still a sale ratio to look at.

Of course, you are right when you say that you can't really see a pattern if you have 0-2 sales a day. But you can definately see a pattern with 5 - 20 sales a day if you've been checking numbers for a long enough period of time.

I think that 95% of the webmasters here are making between 0 and 20 sales a day. And they can surelly accuratly analyse their numbers as much as any bigger program.

I have been in the industry for 17 years now. Until 7 years ago, there where no yo-yo sales numbers like we see today. With Sliiing, I have the occasion to talk with many webmasters, many also state the same. I also find it extremly strange. Now I don't say that it relies on the billing company that we use. But there is something hapenning and I would also love to know what it is.

Strange I am now sharing my niftystats data about ccbill:

32sale/30rebill/1cb, 106k unq, $927 made, ratio: 1:3319
sep so far:
30sale/16rebill/1refund, 67.5k unq, $642 made, ratio: 1:2250

CCBill is going strong for me in last 4-6 months I think. I promote a few dozen programs, some are pretty bad in terms of conversion and they ruin my overall ratio as well, but this is still good I think.

My sales this month are way up, I'm happy and I'm sure my affiliates are happy with the increased sales as they are making more with us :)

and I changed the ccbill settings to maximise returns on exchange rates and it's not harmed us at all. Then again, we have a unique home produced spanking niche no other site has so if they want it, they'll pay for it.

Rephrase the question

We're seeing the same kind of crap in our serps. Most of the serps for many keywords are filled with keyword squatters and tubes and torrents. No wonder things have slowed down. They come and go and we feel the surges in sales when they go but google's promise to clean up serps was an empty one.

I doubt it is that because I've stopped relying on femdom as keyword long, long ago, after panda hit and fucked me completely. it started in Septmber and these SERPS are much older then that. Beside my main site www.femdomdestiny.com I have 40 blogs out there catching dozen keyphrases and keywords and with that ( I know my niche), conversions were not so bad as they are this month,suddenly. As I've mentioned, Ive talked to several big femdom webmasters and they see the same.

At first that would result in his visitors from search engines numbers, however he said that traffic was pretty much the same. So not this case here.

● The economy sucks. Very few surfers will use their credit cards.

● Google Chrome and Firefox's Ad block plus blocks most advertisements,
pop-ups and pop-unders. The surfer never see's them.

● Smart phones. Not many will pull out their credit card while surfing the net
out in public.

● File lockers / Free sites / Tubes. Why pay for something you can get for free.
