Are you still going to vote for Mitt Romney? If you were planning to vote for him last week have you changed your mind? If not, why?

I will vote for him, and everyone I have talked to today said they don't care about that 47% thing and will still vote for him too.

He would have to do something like "removing my freedom" or equally as bad for me to not vote against Obama.

What exactly did he say? That he doesn't care about the forty-seven percent of the population, half of which make less than $17k a year? LOL. I guess he also doesn't care too much about ten percent of that group, which happens to be the elderly.

How can anyone vote for someone who says that?

That is NOT what he said. He simply said that 47% of the people are NEVER going to vote for him so he needs to concentrate on getting the votes of the other 53%. Kind of like the obstacle Obama had.

Nothing either person has said recently would make me note vote for them.

Also included in that 47% are the military who are exempt from paying income tax, and kids, and the working poor.

My experience in life tells me he's saying that to win over the religious crazy people. I heard the same talk when Reagan was President about strip clubs. But for that entire presidency strip clubs flourished like I've never seen since (I was married to 2 feature dancers during the 1980's and 1990's)

Then I heard it again when Bush took office in 2000. We were making great money online in adult in the 1990's and we were genuinely scared because of John Ashcroft being Attorney General.

Instead...the porn industry online got even MORE lucrative and by 2005 we were making twice what we had in the 1990's.

I'd take all that "shutting down porn" stuff with a grain of salt. If it ever happens it won't be because a President says so. The only people "shutting down porn" are guys like Fabian by stealing everyone's content and giving it away for free.

The problem guys like me are faced with...is that if you are a business owner, it's damn hard NOT to vote Republican. But when you look at how the religious right have taken over the party it's scary.

The "real" Romney was as close to being a "real" Republican as I've seen in a while.
Just like the "real" Obama is absolutely NOTHING like the "campaign" Obama...I'm hoping that the "real" Romney would be the one who governs and not the "campaign" Romney.

what intelligent people understand is that if those 47% paid "their fair share" of 30% we wouldn't have a spending problem.

What intelligent people understand is that presidential turnout hasn't broken 60% since the 60's. Most of those 47% don't even vote.
