Anybody here watch "American Greed" on CNBC?
 

Great show. Some of the episodes are eerily similar to some things I've read on here, but I just can't put my finger on it.......

I agree, they need some new episodes. A lot that my DVR records are from 2010-2011. Some crazy stories of people doing some outrageous shit tho' :1orglaugh

Yup, one of the few shows that I actually record and watch.

Another good show is I survived... Some crazy stories on that show!

All I see is re-runs. As if there's not enough scamers out there to profile.

Great show. Can't get enough of it. I like the one where the funeral guy was stealing body parts. He replaced bones with PVC pipe.

But usually it goes.
1. Start Hedge Fund
2. Send false statements
3. Spend cash and make celebrity friends.
4. Get busted

yup right on the money, or it's a church or something someone has an investment idea they hose every one with.......... and its GREED , if it's too good to be true ..........all the dumb fucks coming on and telling their stories, they got into it because they thought it was a miracle way to riches:2 cents:

I know, some of these people come on and say "I was robbed!". And then as the story goes on you find out his/her friend 'Bob' or 'Sally' said it was a good investment with an amazing 20% return whether the market was up or down, so I put in my life savings.....:1orglaugh Hard to feel sorry for some of them.
