Anyone else shower once a month to save water?

Once every three months. Once a month is a waste.

To save water I only flush the toilet on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

I shower biweekly but recycle the same water for roughly 3 months.

why shower?

Not to save water. I just get into working and coding and reading and learning and researching and oh look... It is three days later or a week later... Or ten days later...

Are they running out of water in Canada?

I'd like to thank everyone here for conserving water so I can shower every day and flush my toilet whenever I like. Keep up the good work. Go green!

No, we shower every day. Not to do so would be gross. I can't leave the house without showing.

However, with that said, we have low flush toilets in our house, our shower is low flow, and I watch how I water my lawn. Every week or so I adjust how much I water the lawn, and keep it to a minimum.

Once a month?! Sounds like something the Unabomber would do. Even once a week is hard to imagine.

I take extra showers to piss off the environmentalists.

I shower 1-3 times a day, you fucking stink, I dont care who you are two or three days with out showering, you may not think so, but the rest of us do!

I've learned how to live without showering at all. I'm saving a lot of $$ thanks to this.

You ever flush the toilet like 5 times in a row just to laugh at the noise it makes? I take a shower and then leave the water on hot for a couple hours after to turn bathroom into steam room.

Shower? I go to the mall and take a bath in their water fountain and end up with a pocket full of change as an added bonus. So I'm being paid to take a bath.

I just use the same bath water all year. I add chlorine and use a pool skimmer to clean once a week.

Here we collect all water spent with, 1 quick shower a month, 1 toilet flush every 15 days and make soup with it, it's very refreshing and full of protein. Dr. oz approves :1orglaugh

Im all about saving water.. We use sand.

I'm all about not being wasteful, but that would not be very sanitary and you'd probably loose all your friends and your job from your smell. Just take a wiff of a homeless person next time.

pssh, I used to listen to "rain forest / water fall / etc" relaxation cds at night while I sleep...

... now I just leave the shower running the whole night, it's same sound as the cd and you get the same rain forest like humidity throughout your whole house :thumbsup
