What brings your photo to the top of the list? I have 2 images that are of cars and not even of the correct car but they have shot up the ranks to the top and the pictures show as 3rd and 4th in the first row. Is it how many people click on an image that ranks it higher or brings it to the top?
There are 20 million results in my search and I do not know what more there is to get the top spot. I just noticed the traffic for the domain went from 100 to 1000 and it is from the image traffic. I don't know what I am doing but it worked

yahoo images is sporadic as well. I have an image that will end up #1 in yahoo imagines for a very good search term for 1-2 days then drop down to about #50. Then a month later it shoots back up to #1 again for a few days.

I will show you mine if you show me yours :) LOL I know a little more also but I do not know if it is right. There could be 20 things that involve how it is ranked for all I know.

well I do not blame him, I just thought maybe it was a known thing on how it works but it could take lots and lots of tests and even then we are talking about google. I have never had a picture rank on the top row until now and of course it is for a domain I do not even use and would rather just sell it. If i can only figure out what I did and use it on my other sites that would be nice.
Hell tomorrow watch for my thread that says how do you go from being ranked 1st in google images to being ranked 627327836th haha

LOL yeah I know that helped a lot in the normal search. I know I started seeing people click on that picture a lot and it just went up fast so I am sure that has something to do with it. It is kinda easy because I am comparing my picture to lots that do not have a tall blonde in front of the car but on the other hand there are many other like that, Hell the picture is of a mustang and not a camaro anyways lol. So there are two things going for me.

Visual images and marketing that, is huge right now..Pinterest is booming I'm surprised that there is no talk about it here. People are making 6 figures with it right now;-) They grew faster than facebook or twitter. Has anyone not noticed this? or heard the buzz about it? just curious

haha I never thought to google it, and I hit the thanks button so I hope it helps you out. I found 6 more ways to rank even better then I am now based on how my picture is on the page. It will probably rank me lower but I am going to try it

How to rank your images well on google? No definate answer
Name image files for what you want to rank... teenbigtits.jpg
Then anchor txt teen big tits
but I see images that are just letters and numbers rank well, like... 566gyy.jpg

I also think if you hot link an image it ranks well.

Hot link a teen big tits on your site and your site will rank higher than the site you hotlinked it from.
Go figure.
