question about mobile cams?
Anyone doing any tracking to see what percent mobile customers are spending on cams?

We introduced a new mobile cam interface. |

The guys want to see the video on big monitors, or even on 50 inch TVs, not on small displays of phones, if they can choice - when they can choice. We support iphone, ipad, android live video (without Flash) on tubecamgirl.com since some time, then we purchased mobile traffic, but we seen less signups than from web traffic for same sources and countries, honestly. I think it is because guys on phones are more lazy to fill forms and stuff. However, it could be a few of those guys with cell phone took note of site, then accessed from desktop later to signup, losing the tracking cookie. For sure, we see a few good pay users who registered with pc (and most of the time online from pc/mac), also accessing from android's, iphones and ipad's too, and sending tips to models from phone. If we did not supported mobile correctly, when those good members of ours are on mobile phones/ipads, would have been tipping girls in other cam sites who supported mobile phones. This is a small % of loss, but on the long run, they would be used to other sites this way even when on desktop PCs, so it important to support access from all mobile devices apple android or whatever, also not to lose the guys who use PC mainly. PS: This whole drama of Apple not supporting Flash, then Adobe drop support of Flash in Android, and Android without flash from V4.1 JB, but Chrome and Firefox in Android have no flash and no html5 video play as in iphones working (need to use stock browser to see anything that is not youtube), it is quite dumb, and consumed our developers time a lot. Could those big companies agree on one only mobile video standard and implement it well... |
