What sort of power connectors do you have in the states?
I wanna get one of those dell LCD screens, but they don't have them over here in Australia.
I'm worried it won't work over here as we run on 240v and you guys run on 110... Can anyone tell me what sort of connectors you have over there and/or what I could do to make it over here? Cheers :) http://www.yung-li.com.tw/EN/Product...ector_view.htm There's a reference list, we use the 3rd one down here in Aus. |
Don't you guys have converters?
You must. This is a joke. |
Many LCD screens run off of power supplied by the computer, don't they? Mine does.

Mine plugs into the wall.

Anyone with the 2000FP know?

If it is plugging into a wall, a US outlet is ~120V, two flat prongs (parallel), sometimes with a third, round prong.

IIRC USA power is also at 60hz compared to the UK/Oz's 50hz, so you'll need a step-down transformer as well so you don't fry anything.
Try one of these (or something simillar. I used a something almost identical to run US import consoles back in the 90s) http://www.videkonline.co.uk/SubSect...?sectionID=107 |
Mine uses a buttplug
