Found some of my photos on a site how to remove?

I found a shitload of pictures I've taken and never sold on a website.
nudesbay.com

I don't intend on selling the pictures I have.

Should I bother trying to get them to take them down since they are obviously stolen content?

Sure, send a DMCA takedown request - if they don't listen send it to their hosting company.

Agreed. They host with hostgator (an American company) and will get your content removed, or remove their service if they ignore. :2 cents:

FYI, public whois info: http://whois.domaintools.com/nudesbay.com

DWB 09-14-2012 02:55 PM

hit me up if you need a hand or a dmca copy

keysync 09-14-2012 03:09 PM

Do I have to send a dmca for every picture?
There's got to be hundreds of my pictures on that site.

ottopottomouse 09-14-2012 03:26 PM

you can list them in one. and hostgator are quite responsive if the site doesn't remove it themselves.

mce 09-14-2012 03:27 PM

Hit them where it hurts: HOST and DOMAIN REGISTRAR

keysync 09-14-2012 03:35 PM

Ok, DWB I sent you an email for a copy of a DMCA form.
God damn pirates...

Agreed. You basically need to link to each piece of infringing content (exact URLs). And you may do so with one DMCA notice (one message).

:2 cents:

Contact Hostgator they will take it down

Here is thier copyright page http://www.hostgator.com/copyright.shtml but speak to support on thier live chat and they will give you an email to contact the right Dept

Suprised that guy hasent got any ads on his site no monetization at all

grumpy 09-14-2012 04:15 PM

why the hell would you take a membership there. So much free stuff.

But take the fucker down.

bean-aid 09-14-2012 04:32 PM

I would just email and ask for something, like links. If no response, ddos his site, it would be a lot less involvement on your part and more satisfaction for you :)
Certainly a few on here could help with that.

Wait till about 1 in the morning then ring
Shaun McFArland on 1.9375884145

And say Shawn, I'm gonna email you a list of my photos, take them down, Capice?

DMCA takedown to the host. Sending anything to the registrar will be a waste of time. Hostgator is usually responsive, but I've had some problems with them in the past.
