Senior Programmer Needed In Montreal!
 
Hey guys,

Looking for a PHP/Web developer in Montreal or someone willing to relocate to Montreal and must have the following requirements:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 3+ years related experience
  • Strong knowledge of PHP (OOP)
  • Experience with MySQL
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS/jQuery
  • Experience in building scalable websites to handle high volumes of traffic
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent communication skills in english (written and spoken)
  • Ability to deal with constantly changing priorities and requirements

NICE TO HAVE
  • Experience with NGINX, SVN, JSON, Memcache, redis
  • Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment
  • Experience with e-commerce sites, specifically OpenCart
  • Experience with FFMPEG and/or other encoding technologies

LOCATION
  • 10 min walk from the Villa-Maria metro (orange line)
  • Accessible by bus no. 103 & 162

START: As soon as possible

If this job would be remote, I would be interested! Not planning on moving to Montreal. But the skillmatch is an exact match :-)

I plan on heading up north about New Year's time and will have work permit. Can work remotely till then
