A tragic accident, indeed. Cops are trained to "think quick" now, and hide behind their union brothers later.

Of course there was nothing wrong with the procedure - except for the bat-shit insane arrogance and disregard for human life that every cop has. Cops do not protect citizens - they protect themselves.
