Best router for cement condo?
I need a router that can wifi my condo in Brazil. They use really thick walls and the house is good sized so it is hard to get the back bedrooms from the living room. Not wanting to move the current router location so just looking for more power.
Any ideas? |
cat 6 cable and a dewalt drill

In a pinch try some of those inline adapters. I use one in the upstairs of my house and it works fairly well

Do a network thru your electrical wiring

Maybe WDS with another router in between :)

also possibly a wifi repeater? |
Yes, WDS using cheap Cisco routers. But the best is to use a wired network.

Most people IGNORE the FACT that POWERFUL ROUTERS with HUGE RADIATION POWER will harm your health badly...
the only SAFE ROUTERS are the standard and classic 54mbps linksys type and maybe some others above that. But installing a huge RADIATION ROUTER in a room just to have better signal on other places, while you work on that room, will destroy you... The Electromagnetic FIELDS linked to SERIOUS health problems are no longer a myth, they are a FACT, despite they say its tested or approved or shit like that. I don't care if its approved. The FACT is that it will harm your health. KEEP to the standard wi-fi routers and avoid any of those routers claiming to reach 100 meters signal or things like that... Just sayin... |
