Happy Labor day!

Canada and United States take it easy today as we both celebrate on the same day. Weather is great here in Montreal gonna take a boat ride out to the border. Have a great day!

Why does the US even bother having labor day still. Labor movement pretty dead but we still have two ongoing wars so maybe we should just have 2 labor days?

I once did auditing, of some subcontractor construction companies. Union workers were paid 2.5X base pay, for working on Christmas but got 3X base if they worked on Labor Day and missed the parade.
