The Mondrian in LA was ok...over rated...but still cool.

Madonna Inn in SLO, Cali

freaky themed rooms & bathrooms...



I used to live a few minutes away from it, damm I miss that fucking county!

Motel 6, houston, tx - it was the shit

sleeping in the lobby doesnt count!

Hedonism III in Jamiaca by far. Topless Women, Nude Beaches, All Inclusive, Mirrors Over Your Bed and Jaccuzi Bath, and soo soo much More! :thumbsup

It is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel, but it is very nice, and if you go to Key West it is the nicest place to stay.

I don't stay in a lot of hotels..

That said, the Internext hotel in Hollywood last August was beautiful.. Nice rooms, great pool and deck layout..

Didn't work out too well to host the convention, but damn nice hotel.

Duuuude! Thanks for reminding me of the name of that hotel! I have been trying to remember what it was for the past year! I haven't stayed there yet but it's on the list of things to do... along with finding a good reason to go to that city.:winkwink:

the hot pool outside was soo nice, and for u ppl that know canadian politics ralph klein was in the pool at the same time as us hahah he looked quite drunk!

I have never actually stayed at the Atlantis, but I spent a few hours there in the casino and the waterpark...


Absolutely amazing.

Stayed at them both - the Mondrian's a bit more upmarket but the Standard is cooler. Except that they have this thing about no drinks outside (by the pool) after 11, but they'll serve you at the door until 12, then it's inside until 1, then it's to the bar/restaurant (where they got stroppy because we wanted a table but no food) until 2. Just bizarre. The W just down from UCLA's nice, too - stayed there for a few days after Vegas.

Renaissance Suite in the Venetian was 3500sq. ft. of pure luxury.... I didn't want to leave....:thumbsup

i wonder which "hotel chain" is the tops in luxury... I would bet the Four Seasons chain.

I've impressed a few ladies with that place when I was younger...

Do you guys know that the Psycho house is really a small model and isnt full size? its positioned on a hill and built to scale.

I used to work in Universal Studios up the road and the tour takes you up to it and through the cove of famous houses including the shack from JAWS, the Munsters etc... just a street full of houses used in movies, like Little House on the prarie and shit.

anyhow, people come here looking for the house and its no more than a scaled prop.

Im going take photos of the Phil Spector Mansion soon to add to horror collection.

W in New Orleans, great hotel. Been in more luxurious hotels, but the athmosphere/style of that place was awesome.

The Four Seasons has to be on top but the cool people don't really stay at those hotels anymore. These two companies have the cool market taken care of nicely!
