100+ craft beers; 35+ different breweries

This is going to be a fun afternoon/evening.

If you are in the LA/OC area and enjoy good beers, might I suggest Bier Fest? Freeway close at Alpine Village.

I'll take the paddle on the right...love a good stout with a summer brew chaser! Looks very tasty indeed.

Guess the final count was 34 brewers and 106 beers. There was some outstanding brews there.

In Phoenix, you were the first person to ever explain the differences in brewed ales to me...let's repeat in Europe?

baddog 09-02-2012 03:49 PM

Not sure that I will be there, but I will tell you that London pubs have a great selection of local beers. Get a different one each time. But they just opened a brewpub or gastropub next to Tempe Mission Palms, so that is for sure.

A friend's wife dropped us off; goodgirl picked us up. No way was driving going to be involved. Those 3 oz pours add up and they can be between 5-10% ABV.

AllAboutCams 09-02-2012 05:52 PM

Nice picks

oscer 09-02-2012 07:20 PM

are they all west coast breweries ?

baddog 09-02-2012 07:41 PM

Well, Sam Adams was there, so not all, but that was the only one I saw that was not.

*edit - Great Divide and Avery were there, and that is CO., so I am sure there were a couple that were not exactly coastal.
