The vintage or new adult magazines you are looking for just might be listed on the eBay site but you may not be looking in the right place for them! The Adult magazine issues such as PLAYGIRL, PLAYBOY and PENTHOUSE have certain restrictions on how and where they are allowed to be listed on eBay.

Any adult magazine issues that are dated from 1980 to the present day can only be found under eBay's Mature Audience Listing section. They may also only be listed as "Auctions" in the true Auction format. They are not allowed to be sold or listed with a Buy It Now "BIN" price nor can they be listed as a Fixed Price item in an eBay Store. They are also banned from being in the main search engines on the eBay site searches. The only way you can search for them is to sign into the Mature Audience section and do your search from the left-hand side search box located there.

The good news for those that want the older vintage issues! Any adult magazine issue that was printed before 1980 can be found by searching through the main eBay search program and can be found in all the available formats including Auctions, Fixed-price option, Buy it Now and Store listings.

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT BUYING & SELLING ADULT MAGAZINES

Found on the Main eBay Site: Pre-1980 Playboy, Playgirl, and Penthouse Magazines.
Pre-1980 magazines may only be listed in the Magazine Back Issues.
Found in the Mature Audience Site: Post-1980 Playboy, Playgirl, Penthouse and other Adult magazines. They will be found in the Auction Style only!
PayPal may not be used to pay for any item listed in eBay's Mature Audiences category.
International: eBay's Policy states that Adult items permitted on the main eBay site requires sellers to select shipping to the United States ONLY.
eBay's Want It Now requests and posts for the post 1980 adult magazines cannot be responded to by any seller that may have the item being requested because eBay will block the seller from posting any Mature Audience item numbers in the Want It Now section. And such requests will be removed by eBay, if reported.

If the 1980 to present-day issue you are looking for is available on eBay, you will only be able to find it by checking out each seller's "items for sale" list (not in their store listing) or if you don't know what seller may have it you can do the general search inside eBay's Mature Audience Listings!

The Mature Audience area is located on the eBay site map under the Everything Else Category. You can also search each individual seller for the issue you are looking for by going to a seller's ID, click on their feedback number and then click on "Items for Sale". That will show you all the magazines that are available from the seller both before and after 1980.
