The user uploads the data to be destroyed via a dropbox type interface.

The data is then securely destroyed from our server

The customer is billed per GB of data.

Do you have the destruction properly contained? If I don't like a Katy Perry song and upload it for destruction can you guarantee the process won't leak out and destroy Katy Perry too?

Work with RIAA to implement this as a way for pirates to get rid of their pirated music. Make sure to tell them files get transferred to you, not copied.

You should print the data out on paper first, then shred it, that way you can mail it back to the customer in bags so they will know for sure their data has been destroyed.

Make sure you return the original CD/DVD too, so they can be sure you haven't kept a copy of the data.

Be sure to offer a document scanning service as well so that your idea can be reverse-compatible with faxes and other printed documents!

He could offer a fax destruction service as a sideline for companies that haven't gone all digital yet.
