Isaac finally reached hurricane strength today, closing in on New Orleans and the entire Louisiana coast as a slow-moving giant of a system expected to make landfall 2night or early Wednesday.

The National Guard have arrived at the J.A. Yenni building in River Ridge...NOLA is gearing up and ready for Isaac.

Hopefully people of New Orleans learned a lesson or two from Katrina.

It's a category 1 and that is all it's going to get to.

The South Florida media did a good job though of scaring everyone so they would go to the store and spend, spend, spend.

I didn't do jack shit. 75 mph winds won't shut down the entire area.

Oh Jesus I hope he doesn't come here with six months of stories about how he saved New Orleans and the world after a category I hurricane. It was bad enough after he bravely took that paid position (rather than volunteer) after the oil spill.
