Curacao - anyone live there or has visited?
 

Have a few questions about a trip that I am planning :)

i have been there, it was a nice holiday, nice (quiet) beaches and good place for diving.

what would you like to know?

i have been there a couple of times
but ask PornoPat, he has lived there for some time

just going for a vacation on a boys trip

wanted to know where to stay - casino, nightlife, boats, or even golf recommendations

I went a couple years ago, its pretty cool. Great beaches and diving, people are super friendly, good shopping.

If you are going for any sort of business make sure to book appointments before going, it can be hard to get the right people by just showing up.

The night life was quiet till I met a couple locals one night then I went to a couple crazy parties over the next couple days. And of course there is Campo Allegre

ive been there but it was with a cruise ship and we didnt get to stay too long to get to really enjoy all the parts of the island, the beaches and diving was nothing short of amazing, but its hard to not have a beautiful beach and good diving anywhere in the Caribbean

A friend of mine is moving there later this year. I also have another friend who has been several times and enjoyed it. Hope you speak Dutch! :)

For a boys trip, Curacao wouldn't be your best choice.

I went to a couple of the Island Gathering events.

we are mostly squares -

so gambling, good beach, boat/fishing, and some strip clubs or such

plus tickets from miami are like 186 right now

I am curious how do you define people, aren't they all pretty much the same in big cities of Usa? Lets leave out stereotypes, but would anyone expect people to be more friendly in city X rather than in city Y? Just curious :)
