I'm here sitting by a pool using my desktop 2000 miles away here on my laptop as if I were right there. I just used a ten year old phone to send a picture of my dick to my crazy woman out here. Fucking unbelievable.

People fail to notice how much technology has affected their lives. I remember being a kid and the only resource I had about - say - California was my encyclopedia set, which was outdated by ten years. Yesterday my kid used her cell phone to tell me how many medals we won in the last winter olympics. Information is now at our finger tips.

It's a blessing and a curse...

When I was a kid the neighbourhood I grew up in was always full of kids playing and having fun.. now, there's never a living soul to be seen anywhere - not even on the sunniest days during the weekends.. scary.

true... I liked to climb trees, go out on "adventure".. now kids stay inside more and more and play with their BB / computer games all day long

I think about that every time I drive past empty baseball fields and playgrounds. No kids outside playing.
