Are Apple actually achieving much by trying to fuck up Samsung?
From a purely personal point of view here, but I'd be interested to see what you think.
Apple have always made me slightly uncomfortable. I don't like their control freak attitude, which I can see is commercially very effective, but I find it frustrating when I can't do something simple that every other manufacturer allows.
On the other hand, their stuff is indeed really good.
But this thing with Samsung. Apple are clearly out to destroy them (and have had a go at most other competitors in the last 10 years). It is now going well beyond uncomfortable for me.
I don't want Apple dictating what I can and can't buy. They have proven themselves time and time again to be totally unsuitable to control a market. They have spent a lot of money patenting broad concepts, and a lot of money trying to fuck up anyone trying to compete.
Right now I don't give a fuck how good the next Iphone or Ipad or any other Apple gadget is, I am not buying it.
Am I a petulant kid, or are Apple starting to look like the playground bully? Am I the only person who wants Apple to jam their own fists up their buttholes?
