At all times Paxum requires up-to-date and valid documentation to be on file for each account-holder. Paxum is not a bank and we must comply with official requirements in order to continue to legitimately provide our Global Money Transfer Services.
While this may seem annoying, it is imperative for the security of our clients and our company that we always have valid identification for every Paxum account-holder.

If your expiration date is missing then you should see a notice on the first page (My Account>>>Overview) after you login. There will be a link on that page titled -
Identity Document Expiry Date - simply click that link and fill in the correct information. After this is done, the notice will disappear from your Control Panel.
If your document has actually expired, then please upload a new document that is valid so that we can ensure we have up-to-date documentation relating to your verification.

It makes me scratch my head why an online card service needs so many documents, then needs them again. Now again. I understand they have a lot of fraud to deal with, but unless your account has been flagged for possibly being fraudulent, I don't understand why so much documentation is needed to maintain valid accounts.

Paxum is not a bank. We provide a valuable service offering our clients the ability to transfer money instantly from one Paxum client to another, anywhere in the world. As such, and for fraud prevention and anti-money laundering procedures we must ensure we have strong KYC for every single one of our clients. As a result we request valid Picture ID and Proof of Address for every single Paxum client.
If a Paxum client has provided Picture ID for verification but we do not have the ID expiration date, then that account will be prompted to provide it.
If a Paxum client has an expired Picture ID then we will prompt for a new one to be uploaded to maintain the validity of the account. We provide a generous amount of time to update expired ID's before there are any account limitations.

The Epass Fiasco is almost 2 years old and started with similar things is you remember. It seems that Paxum's problem is different, but you can see users complaining about slow wires recently which raises a flag for me. :2 cents:
BTW my ID expired and I upped the new one, my acc + card works flawlessly but I still see the expiration warning too.. Weird

Matyko, please click the link you see inside your Paxum Account control panel on the Overview page. Once you click it and provide the expiration information then that notice will disappear. Please make sure to do this ASAP to avoid any problems.
I hope it is clear to GFY members that Paxum operates quite differently than Epassporte ever did. Paxum complies with the official rules and regulations set out by our banking partners, by Mastercard, and by the government. We do not bend or break those rules in any way.
It is BECAUSE of our strict compliance to these rules that some GFY members may experience frustration with our verification process, but as a result of that compliance, Paxum can continue to provide every one of its clients a secure and easy method to transfer money on a global scale.
Please feel free to contact me anytime should you have any questions or need any assistance at all.
Thanks,
Ruth :)
