Paul Ryan says rape babies shouldn't be aborted.

I'm think he'd probably also support parental rights and visitation rights for the rapist. Asshole!

Quote:

Last week, Paul Ryan gave an interview in which, defending his position that there should be no excuses for abortion, he referred to rape as a "method of conception."

Wow, right? Talk about a benign euphemism. Rape -- RAPE! -- is now a "method of conception." You know, like love-making, just without the love.

There could be no greater testament to the utter abdication of responsibility by what passes for a "news" media in America in 2012 than that, despite the grotesquerie of this cavalierly callous comment, chances are better than good that this is the first you're hearing of it.

He's a pig like Mitt. As I posted in another thread, he even thinks that children who are 12, 13 (whatever age) if molested by their own father and became preggers that they should carry to term. I think it's disgusting and child abuse. (As if the molestation wasn't enough....... forcing her to carry to term? Really?

Why is this such a big issue?
Morning after pill anyone...Why let it come to an abortion?

Redrob 08-27-2012 04:43 PM

I don't think morning after pills are available in all states or for anybody that just walk in and says they need one.

In the United States, emergency contraceptive pills are available without prescription for women and men 17 and older. Just ask your pharmacist for Plan B One-Step, Next Choice One Dose, Next Choice or Levonorgestrel tablets.

Unfortunately many pharmacists forget what they learned in university and refuse to sell Plan B for religious reasons.

Women should not have to spend hours finding a pharmacy that dispenses Plan B. Especially since you have to take it within a certain time period.

Well first off what the fuck are you doing at a pharmacy after being raped? Shouldn't you be at a hospital getting a rape kit done and don't go to a catholic hospital and tada: morning after pills!

Edit: Not saying I agree with Ryan.

Actually, they don't take you to a hospital... just a small clinic where they inspect you and give you a number to call for HIV testing and for the morning after pill---they do not dispense it on site. (my friend had this happen to her...raped at gunpoint)

Ok works differently here. Same result though. Girl I knew had it happen to her as well. This is what she did. But I am sure if you walked into a hospital saying you were raped they would treat you no?

Sorry about your friend.

I've been watching that HBo show The Newsroom, and it's basically exposing the mainstream media outlets to be the most nutless bastards on the planet -- and I believe it. Of course you're not going to hear about this Paul Ryan comment on CNN, and especially FOX news.
