Sounded like he may have gotten some bad legal advice with the idea that pleading guilty and getting a bunch of good references would only get him probation. He was obviously stunned at the sentencing which leads me to believe his attorney had not prepared him for the idea of what he was possibly facing in terms of years in prison.

Seems like this was a good kid who did something stupid. What a fucking shame - he could have been a multi millionaire basketball player for the NBA and now he's nothing more than a common criminal, convicted felon, and prison inmate. Sucks to be him.

I hope he likes tossing the salad.
