Anybody else notice a drop in spam posts on WP ?

Since the google updates I have noticed a huge drop in spam posts on my WP sites. Used to get 100s a week now im only getting 20 a week, anybody else notice this to ?

I'm pretty sure it does have to do with ScrapeBox though. Either the new results don't allow for mass-harvesting anymore, or Google did something to block mass-harvesting to begin with. Besides, if your sites were on many lists, it's quite likely they got weeded out by now, since the comments aren't auto-approve.

most prob, I do go through some of them and edit and approve, it makes for quick content :)

I use akismet but I still go through some of the comments to edit and approve before I trash them

No but I noticed an increase in pingbacks using scripts to grab our blog images, use our alt tags (word for word) and not having links to our program on their posts.

Whoever is writing these scripts needs a severe ass-reaming.

I use akismet but I've also trained my gmail to block them, so I rarely see them.
